lol, this is the second video this week, yourself and hayho’s that have mentioned stuff I’ve literally done days before myself, and like yourself it was watching Dan’s video that made me aware of the extension arms. Having changed our caravan last year as the eldest two kids no longer come with us, we bit the bullet and changed the 7’6” with fixed bunks at the end for an 8’ with fixed bed for us. Having soldiered on with the standard Aeros for 6months I saw dans video and thought “awesome “ ordered some last week ready for the bh weekend, and my goodness, night and day better, I can see a hell of a lot more now, such a small difference in length but massive difference in visibility, as the wife says , a few inch makes all the difference 🤣 tounge in cheek there but great video James, keep up the good work Tom

I know, I didn't even know the extra long arms were a thing. I am with you so much more visibility, I have only towed 10 miles with them so far, So hope there is no Vibration Issues with the Extra Length, Claire hasn't complained yet Lol. Let me know how you get on.

Hi Colin, Lol yes Claire wasn't best pleased, I realised I would be in trouble after I started recording :-)

Great video, but I’ve moved over to Emuk mirrors a bit more pricey but superior in stability to the Milenco ones, just had vibration no matter which way I tried to fix them.

Thank you a few people have mentioned the Emuk, mirrors I will take a look

Surely the mirrors should be wide not high, (landscape rather than portrait) as you need to see past your caravan, not above it?
@CaravanEscapades1014 ай бұрын
Hi Susan, No the Grand Aero's are designed to be used that way round, With the extended arms they give very good visibility to the rear of the caravan and a vey good overall view. You can see here on Milenco's website how they should be positioned. Hope that helps and thanks for commenting and watching Happy Camping. I know what you were saying James about normal mirrors and 8ft caravan just a bit narrow for a view in them. I bought the Zolio emuk ones BRILLIANT ….. never looked back !!

I found after fitting the extending arm the mirrors tended to vibrate a lot. No matter how much I tightened then. Changed to emuk and they are brilliant. If expensive.

Thanks for the info, I have only towed 10 miles with the extended arms, so I will give it a better go soon. I will take a look at the Emuk mirrors

I was expecting Claire to throw a towel at you after saying that 😂 We personally have never gotten on with the Millenco ones. Did you find the extra length caused any vibration? (Ooeer Mrs)
@CaravanEscapades1014 ай бұрын
Lol she wasn't pleased :-) I have found them great up to this point, however I have only towed 10 miles with the longer Arms on, So will have to see how we get on. A lot of people have suggested the EMuk towing mirrors, If I do get a problem with the Milenco, I will give the EMuk ones a try

@@CaravanEscapades101 we have the EMUK ones for our Volvos, whilst expensive they are very good and never require adjustment.
