Maybe you two should choose a different organization to report for, because its terrible when when you have a positive signing like bringing back one of our own... only to hear the both of you drag the positivity into the garbage. No one celebrates the incident that Miles Bridges had, we're taught to forgive your fellow man. If you can't forgive him then don't report for my Charlotte Hornets going forward, simple enough. Maybe I should petition the locked on network to have someone else report for us because you guys are making this rediculous. I pray nothing ever befall one of you and you require grace from others. I don’t like this notion that he didn’t look like the same player before suspension. He actually did when LaMelo was on the floor. Miles strengths lie in playing off ball and making quick decisions. He’s not going to look good functioning as your primary ball handler like he did this past season. And it’s hard for the athleticism to show up when teams can pack the paint cuz LaMelo isn’t there to space the floor.

Sixers fan who wanted Miles Bridges for cheap, instead of going the Paul George route. Were the Hornets bidding against themselves? What was the next best offer? I couldn't have been more than a 12.8 M MLE (eg CLE)? And why was it even reported that the Clippers were interested in Miles. At that time, LAC wasn't able to offer anything besides the Vet Min. That's because they were hardcapped at the 1st Apron for using their BAE on Nic Batum. We were told that CHA had an offer on the table. Was it really at 24 M?

Which of Grant Williams or Josh Green...starts with Melo, Miles, Mark and Brandon? Young Miles has been punished. He may have apologized to his kids and the mother and to her parents. The scar will last for life as his kids grow older and ask questions. He hopefully has grown and will become an advocate against DV. We dont know, but at this point it is time to accept the decision to sign him and move on and talk growth of Hornets.

Sensitive subject, and everyone has a right to their opinions and how they feel about it. I personally feel that Miles made a terrible and regrettable mistake, but that it seems as if he has moved past that, and I hope that is the case for him, his children and family, and for the Hornets org going forward. It doesn't mean he is a terrible person for life; it doesn't mean anyone including the Hornets org condones violence against women. He has been and is serving the required punishments for his actions, and he deserves a right to work and rebuild his life and family relationships, which it appears he is doing. Although I am a big fan of their work in general, I don't agree with Doug and Walker on this, but I won't dismiss their opinions, either. They are as valid as mine or any other, and.....it is their show lol, a place where they of all ppl should be free to voice their own opinions. That said, I hope we can all move forward, with Miles at least for now, into what is starting to look like (scared to even say it) a brighter Hornets future. Go Bees!

I'm not worried about the team sitting next to the apron. The things to talk about are the 3 years lines up with Brandon taking a probable rookie max and that contract starting. Also with our accumulated assets, if we're gonna swing for the fences for an all nba calibre player, you need to match wages. At 25mil it's never gonna be a terrible contract and hopefully you're attaching picks to it anyway which is what the receiving team actually wants

I gotta say that I'm a little stunned that there was ZERO market for him outside of Charlotte, who is giving him a lukewarm reception at best. I guess my question is what made him so radioactive? This Miles Bridges extension could either be very good for the team or very bad for the team. If he fixes himself, works on himself, and becomes a good standing individual off the court, while also providing the hornets with production worthy of a 3 year $75mil contract, the perception of the hornets around the league drastically changes because it’s proof that there’s a high level culture in place that’s conducive to bringing the best out of the players both on and off the court. The flip side is if Miles doesn’t play well, it’s honestly just a bad contract, that stuff happens all the time, but cuz it’s the hornets it signifies that even in the new regime it’s much of the same (I highly doubt this). But if Miles reverts back to the demons that got him suspended for a full year and 10 more games, that’s such a black mark on the organization because we could’ve avoided it by letting him walk, even at the risk of getting nothing back for him. I’m willing however to give Miles a second chance. Since coming back he’s seemed nothing but remorseful especially for what he put his kids through, and the front office seems to think he’s put all this behind him or they wouldn’t have given him $25mil a year.
@sakthithanigai5036
@sakthithanigai5036 2 ай бұрын
Also just to add, Miles was wrong for what he did, and most likely shouldn’t be in the league (same with KPJ) but the situation with Miles involved 2 people (him and his ex) basically getting into a brawl, the problem for miles is that if he hits the marks will show, if she hits it prob won’t. Like that’s been well documented that Miles wasn’t the only aggressor, she also hit too. And all the stuff after like the ex tryna break into his house, stealing his dog, etc all of that makes it make 0 sense to say that Miles was the only person in the wrong. But that being said I’ll give him that second chance until he proves otherwise.

Lol this comment section is wild. I didnt think it was a hot take to initially be dissapointed we resigned him. Like I get its a great contract and all but all the hornets fans ive spoken too wouldve rather sign and traded him and just moved on.

All those fans you've spoken to don't represent all of us......respectfully.

I am disappointed they brought back Miles but i understand why they brought him back its not like the hornets have much talent at the forward position i agree he will be traded eventually however

Bridges has a loser mentality. Always crying at the refs, throwing his mouthguard. He is a disease on this franchise. Finally had an opportunity for a fresh fresh start… way to go hornets
