Melodic miles - soulful. King of silence. Playing off those weaving beats. That end. Signature TRANE. Going to go outside at a moment’s notice - at any moment - now yes, there he goes, leaving the keys gasping. Tasty Wynton phrasing all those blues he feels and they are something else.

Um......Contrane's solo on this live piece is one of the best of all time. He plays like a ****in' alien. (I'm talking about approx. minute 9 to minute 10. It has nothing much to do with the tune, but is unbelievable.)

I like what Miles is doing too on the high notes - reaching... (at around 4:00 and then minute 5-6.) These guys are just doing whatever the hell they feel like - they're like Star Trek - going where no one has gone before.

If Coltrane lived next door . . . your cats would disappear for a week, but I like his playing.

My cats run away when I play, and I'm not as good as Coltrane...
