Agree with Miles Grimshaw’s and Sequoia Doug Leone’s point about the importance of terminology, such as to “partner” with a founder. Similar is the Buffett point to think of being a “partner” in a business when you buy a stock, with the point being that frames as an “owner” such that you really look at the quality and opportunity of the business now and potential over the long-term.
