Fudger’s comment on his self awareness and being able to see both sides of every coin is spot on. His interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence are his greatest strengths. If there’s a BMX hall of fame Miles deserves a spot, way more influential than he gets credit for.

@@ErinsAudioCorner do you remember the band mortal treason?
@ErinsAudioCorner11 күн бұрын
@ absolutely. Seth lived just down the road from me. We rode together all the time. He was the reason I got my first S&M dirt bike when he buckled the frame of my bike for me because some dude at Dan’s Comp talked me into buying a crappy KHE bike instead of a Hoffman Condor back around 1997. 😂 Also, he was the best man in my wedding. I sent him a screenshot of this yesterday. I don’t think he wants to leave town. But maybe Ryan and Dennis can fly out to Knoxville for the interview. 😂

A new web series "Miles out in Tulsa" or Tulsa Tuesdays" in association with OurBMX and *insert sponsor here, featuring *insert rider/team here (affiliated with sponsor) capturing riding from around the streets of Tulsa through the lens of Miles Rogoish......just saying. Miles is such a great dude. Very genuine, no bullshit, not blaming anyone for his misfortunes. He's stepped up, cleaned up and is pushing himself to be the best version of himself. Definitely seems like the kind of dude you'd want to hang out with and shoot the shit. This was a really good one and definitely could have listened for a few more hours. Thanks

Miles you've got this ! Going on 7 years no booze. It can be done. It's phuqin hard at first, but as time goes by it gets progressively easier, it doesn't solve all your problems, but the problems get easier to handle. You got it!

28:38 Cory Wiergowski said the same thing in his interview on Kanode Knows that oddly came out the same day as this. There is so much BMX media that has been lost in the early internet days. It makes me wonder what BMX media is going to be lost to social media platforms? I was also thinking that as time passes there is a whole new generation of "OG" riders who haven't yet gotten the veteran props that they deserve. There are tons of riders from the early 2010s who were huge and don't get talked about as much as the main old school pros, mid school pros, or the early 2010s riders who stuck around and are still fresh in people's minds (Garrett, Nathan, Dennis, Chad, etc). Riders like Miles, Garrett Reeves, Cory Wiergowski, Rob Wise, Dave Thompson, Alex Magellan, Shawn McIntosh, Shane Weston and Eli Taylor come to mind as 2010s riders who don't necessarily get the props that they deserve.
