My favorite part- Boz asking Rebecca- “real talk are you going to make it?” Her response, “yes of course.” Dealing with some health issues and that was uplifting for me.

For all the turbulence in CrossFit over these last few years I really think Boz has come up with some incredible events. Some of them were so simple in terms of structure but they were different to the last years, they demanded more of the athletes without actually being insane or dangerous. I am really excited for the years to come.

Agreed. Making an effort to pronounce someone’s last name the way they and their family pronounces shows a lot of respect. Not that I ever think Woodland is disrespectful - I think he’s amazing! It’s just a hot button for me because no one cares to pronounce my last name how my family pronounces it

Watching The Games at the time, I could see how toxic CrossFit Reykjavik were at times but this video shows just how toxic they were. You enter a team event, so be a team.
@MsCaitor2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. There is a reason why mayhem wins team. They communicate, support each other, and stick with it. That’s a team, not individuals working against each other. I felt bad for Lauren
@darylwatson-strongerfaster9792 жыл бұрын
@@MsCaitor I’m a huge Mayhem and Rich Froning fan and they’re always working as a team. But I also look at the other teams that are on the podium or around the podium places year in, year out. They operate as a team, they train as a team and they win or lose, as a team. No egos, no agendas, just athletes competing with each other in order to be as successful as possible. I’d be surprised if CrossFit Reykjavik enter as a team again next year and if they did, I’d hope someone would tell Lauren not to do it. She deserves more than what she was subjected to at the games.
