It just sucks it ended up with the Pachinko treatment like MGS3 instead of a proper anime...even worse how Dragonball Super's Zamasu arc is a watered down copy of the Kinnikuman 2011 continuation arcs! And Tournament of Power copying the Scramble for the Throne arc.

Sadly, it's not. Super is almost a direct (toilet)watered down version of Kinnikuman for those last 2 arcs. Don't believe me, read the manga. Least the Scramble Throne arc should be easy to find.

Still one of my all-time favorite party games on the Gamecube. Besides being a fan of the anime I just loved how over the top and chaotic the MP could get. Plus there's something intensely satisfying about pulling off the different supers and tag team moves.

In the actual kinnikuman (kinnikuman literally translates to muscle man) anime, they did have kinnikuman (king muscle) do blackface. If anything that color pallet was to match Prince kamehameha a character that teaches kinnikuman the killing moves he develops early in series.

It's different in Japan (much like Gyazo is different from most Jiaozi), but the concept comes from Chinese LaMian (Men/Mian means noodles in Japanese and Chinese respectively). Ask Jessica, she might know about this as well.
