Yeah the lawsuit was settled a bit ago. Basically the original writer Victor Miller owns everything from the first movie, so young Jason, Pamela Voorhes, etc, and the director of the original film/producer of the rest of the series Sean S Cunningham now owns everything after that, so adult killer Jason, the hockey mask, etc.

Hopefully things speed up in this game. It does have polish in some parts, but others still need tweaking. Also doesn’t help that Ed Boon keeps talking about this game. And until further notice, Jason is about as close to seeing MK representation in this game until they decide to send in the ninjas.

I think at this point, a MK character is a matter of "when" and not "if". After all, wouldn't be the first time a MK character got toned down and still worked. They've done it with Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Liu Kang with no issue.

@@coloradoblue6929 That and if you can have Game of Thrones, Jason, and Rick and Morty in the game and not push things to a violent extreme in a game with Bugs Bunny, Steven Universe, and Shaggy, that should be a strong enough indicator that it should indeed be plausible to make it happen. Going to be fun to see when it does happen, but from what "leaks" are out in the open, that likely won't be anytime soon (unless if there are no voice lines for them yet. But the ones I have heard, well they are certainly some interesting choices for sure).

There were a bunch of leaks involving LotR characters, but between the leaks and the game's original "launch" (which I still say they retconned into being a beta) there was an IP dispute that Warner Bros ended up losing. All of the leaked ensemble pictures ended up appearing in the full game, but with the LotR characters conspicuously absent.

At launch, you only have access to 2 difficulties. 3 if you grind hard enough, the 4th one is MIA and the 5th one is too high up to grind normally, but good news you can pay for gems which totally is not P2W. Right now, there are 2 rifts, but there are 5 total time gated to 1 week, so you'll have to grind the first two rifts and make miniscule progress To unlock Agent Smith "2 weeks early," we're looking at a 2 month long grind because you need ALL the difficulties in the game to get the opportunity to unlock him. Please tell me you see the problem in that to unlock a character 2 week early you need to grind the game for 2 months, because this is how they set the rifts and the event up. I have to play the game to unlock a character? More like I need a full time job to play a character early.

I feel like everyone in multiversus seems heavier than in the beta. It feels like everyone was given more weight to move slower and fall faster. Other than that, I feel it is the same as the beta. The stages are the exact same layout wise (minus Dexter’s stage) and the characters seem to move relatively the same as the beta. Just add two free characters and the rift mode and that was the game. Im not saying it’s bad, but I with they got more creative with specifically the stages.

Batman was not considered very good in 2v2s at any point, and I doubt Jason will be either, but personally I've found that they have a lot of really good synergy with one another. Who knew that the solution to making Batman better in 2v2s was to to add a character just to pair with him? Doing a lengthy batman combo into a Jason grab into a rang back into the Batblender is absolutely insane.

Max seems to be blind to the faults of this game. The speed, the floatiness, the unresponsiveness. The camera being unnecessarily zoomed in even though it's a platform fighter. The fact that the UI became harder to parse since the beta. Not being able to try characters before you buy them. The overall greediness of the full version compared to the beta. I know he feels overall the same about it but it really is aggressively worse.
