Miles, you just hit on something that I started 2 weeks ago. My husband and I have a great story around it, so I definitely played that up. It's something that he truly loves and has been in his family for generations. They were farmers and we now, for the first time ever, live in an apartment and have a cute little balcony. I have also created KDP spiritual planners and I do photography, which I sell. I also have an affiliate marketing site that is picking up speed and about a month ago realized my ideal customer was wrong. I just changed my audience and realized it has changed everything. I am having the time of my life!! ;-)

Oh, and 25-plus years ago, we purchased a 150-year-old, 10-acre farmette from a family that had built it and it had been in the same family the entire time. It was a Heritage farm. We renovated the original farmhouse (we heard stories from the family). We ended up having to sell it, but it catapulted us into a new business doing home renovations. We planted (ourselves) 3200 pine trees (different varieties) and many of them are still there today. We're around 65 now and life just keeps sending us amazing new challenges. Keep going, guys. Life is a trip!

@Miles Beckler Big question, when I test out these different offers that are in completely different niches, are they housed under one "generic brand" or is a new "minimum viable brand" created for each offer (i.e. domain, temp-logo, facebook / IG page, etc.)

Brilliant strategy. Pay attention to what sells and is constantly advertised on platforms like etsy. And look at all the niche print on demand stuff like mugs and shirts. Productize and monetize!

this is one of my biggest frustrations.. the speed of social media has drastically reduced the time you can set up an oil well. The same week ChatGPT came out people were already trying to sell get rich AI courses lol

Modern tools make it easy to get an early mover advantage... but... products that suck and creators who quickly publish/sell rubbish products will fade away like the thousands of make money online want to be gurus who have faded away over the years. Those who create true value and useful products for their audience will stand the test of time.
