I like how the car does not have any external SRT badges. But when you start it up, it shows up on the digital gauge cluster just for a second and disappears again. More vehicles need to learn how to be subtle like this.

A fond farewell to an American sedan. The boxy looks, the amount of internal space, that V8 sound, I can almost feel the gas pedal engaging me on a long drive/cruise to Monterey. Well done Miles and thank you.

I agree with you on all aspects regarding the HEMI V8, its sound, overall feeling and the fact that no electric car will ever give it to the driver like the HEMI does. It's really sad that they are being discontinued by the end of this month. Between the 300C and the Charger Scatpack, I have mixed emotions, but I think the 300C looks better than the narrow-body Charger.

I love the 300c. It was my dream car growing up, and I still hope to buy one soon. I just wish Chrysler would have put effort into this vehicle. They have hardly changed the interior-although I still think it looks great-since the redesign debut in 2011. I think that a redesigned interior would certainly make this a top competitor in the mid-range luxury sedan market.

I definitely prefer the look of the 300C. I was starting to plan out ordering a Charger Scat Pack widebody in Sept '22 when the teaser for this vehicle was announced. Before the reveal was even over, I had already placed my reservation for the 2023 300C in white. I took delivery last month and absolutely love it. It's more subtle than the Charger, but also aggressive looking in those subtle ways. Plus, there are a few things the 300C has that the Charger Scat Pack can't get... the panoramic roof and the full Laguna leather interior. Finally, add in that this is less $ than the Charger Scat Pack (as closely equipped that you can get it) and this is the performance bargain of the year!!!

I have a 2018 300S with long tube headers, tuner and a Cold Air intake. I love the car so much that would never sell it. The car drives, rides and handles dramatically better when fitted with 20X9.5 hellcat wheels mated to Continental 275X40W tires. I have decided to swap a 448 inch mildly turned engine in mine that while being quiet a smooth will still make 200+ additional horsepower. I've had 2 Chargers as well, but the 300 is my favorite!

I bought a 2005 300c in 2004 when they first came out, traded it in 2019, yes, another 2019 300C. Mine is with brushed nickel trim, wood trim in the interior with mocha leather. FYI, LX platform only shared a few front end pieces and updated electronic limited slip from the Benz platform that was updated that same year. The 11 update removed most of the Benz stuff and completely changed the geometry of the suspension to the point that it was basically an entirely new platform and not even called LX anymore and the 15 Refresh replaced even more of that so there was literally nothing from Benz left. You also should know the 300 SRT8 DID have the 6.4 from 11 to 14.

The reason car review outlets still call it a benz platform is because the underlying frame and unibody architecture is still the same platform, everything's been changed, but the very deep deep guts of the frame are the same.

The ultimate sleeper, but those 245-wide tires on all four corners are asking for trouble. Swapping performance tires would help, but most Scats are widebody models now with 305s borrowed from the Hellcat. They would be much faster on a dig and in corners with the extra grip.

Hey a real question for you. I'm a muscle car fan (own a 2017 Camaro SS). What made you buy the Charger? The availability of a V8 in a sedan? I always found Dodge products quite pricy for what they are. And if I was buying a sedan, I might cross shop a BMW M340i that is quicker than a Charger Scatpack. You do lose on the sound and feel of V8, but gain all aspects of performance plus luxury. And doesn't cost any more. Thoughts?

Update: Welp, went with my friend to a Dodge dealer to pick up his hellcat and they had one of these 300c's for sale MSRP so.... yea couldn't wait for my v8 anymore and just bought this for 56k. No regrets, love it!

@@jamesmin2837 I know you did not ask me, but I can tell you the answer. The M340i, snappy hotrod though it is, is a COMPACT sedan. The Charger is FULL-SIZE. WAY more comfortable, especially for a long trip.

good interior for a 10-12 year old car. This just isn't cutting it... It's literally the EXACT same as the 2013 model

Stigma?? The 300 is a nice car. The scat pack has more driving features. Btw, the 300 definitely has the " stigma" also.
