I think the shape will grow on you. It has on me to the point that it even looks sporty as though it’s all ready moving at speed when parked. Once you see what I see and then look back at the disco 4 it does look dated now like an old bread van.

See the Disco as a new model, the Defender takes the baton as the boxy off-roader.

At 19:30 the 0 to 60 is 6.1 seconds with the turbo lag if break boosted it might get 5.7 or 5.6 seconds based off predictions

Regarding the suspension part. Did U checked the tire pressures?sales may forgot reset tire pressures back to normal from transport mode that requires higher pressures...I tested this discovery in Beijing days ago I think the suspension is on the soft side....

It was great! Especially thanks for sharing your impression! Good 3 row luxury SUV with off-road capability for 70k. Probably Grand Cherokee L could compete with Discovery.

To be fair it is on 22 inch wheels wrapped in all terrain tires...I don't know of many trucks that have that smooth of a ride with wheels that big... Certainly for the price. I'm sure a simple change to 20 inch wheels would fix that immediately.

Great review. Do you still need to connect your iPhone via wire in order to use Apple CarPlay? Or is it wireless Apple CarPlay? Ordered mine (2022 Discovery HSE R-Dynamic in carpathian gray) a month ago and got a build date of 06/28 and a delivery date of 08/20. Can’t wait to get mine.

You do need to plug it in. That’s great! I hope you enjoy it!

How are you liking the car?!

@@amandaavia Delivery date was pushed back to 11/27. It’s already built but sitting at the dock in the UK 🇬🇧 waiting to board a vessel 🚢 to the US 🇺🇸. Luckily the vessel 🚢 will deliver and unload at a port in Georgia 🙄 which hasn’t had any issues unlike the ports on the west coast.

@@versa319 oh nooo. I’m sorry to hear that! This is why I’m thinking of putting my build in extra early. Good luck and keep me posted! (If you remember, haha)

I'd have to say, I want to buy the car but I feel somewhat irritated by this review. Kind of like that one friend who doesn't have anything close to what you got but criticizes the heck out of your car. Good to see the car looks good inside. It's a Land Rover, no Urus or Cullinan here man.

I think the ride quality is quite different on e.g German roads/highways which are much smoother. Potholes on the highway here are not existent also due to the speed one is allowed to go

I think you would be better buying a car. It’s a 4x4 suv and should be driven like one. Not driven like a car it’s not a car. It will take you across the country in comfort and take you through a forest. Who cares what it’s zero to 60 is. Side bolsters adjust for the bigger person.
@MilesPerHr2 жыл бұрын
The point I'm making here is that, for a luxury marque, the Discovery should certainly ride smoother than it does. Cross country comfort? I'm not so sure.
