NoWintertodt is my "efficient" low-level Ironman account, whose route focuses on simultaneously completing as many things as efficiently possible, with a particular focus on early gear unlocks, as well as methods to get around Gielinor more quickly/easily, while trying to avoid as much early skill and money grinding as possible.
I chose to avoid Wintertodt and Barbarian fishing, because, while they are indeed very efficient in getting both levels and early resources for a fresh Ironman account, I don't want to spend 300 hours grinding out 99 firemaking or 99 fishing doing those activities before being able to play the account the way I want to play it. So, I focus on efficiency from the very start of the account. Let me know what you think!

Can always pick up wherever you need to! I keep finding areas where I could've done something better, and it makes me want to go back and try it again. I'll likely wait for a while to do that, as I'm sure I'll keep finding things.

It was actually new information for me, too. I've only done the quest once or twice over the past 15ish years and didn't know it was an option. You'd think it would go to the museum, but the Apothecary needs to expand his potion business too, you know!

Yikes! please do NOT restart the series and join two together!!! this would disrupt the series for all your viewers and probably wouldn't make it that much more efficient. KEEP THE SERIES GOING WE LOVE IT

Somehow my cat got left in the lumbridge sewers like a god damned fallout follower, so after death to the dorg i just went skilling until finally realizing i could world hop to get my kitten back lmao, great video. lots of efficiency here

I have completed the series, account is growing so fast. Did the whole series in 10 days, as I have noticed a few errors, or missed opportunities.. I am going to put it all together to send you all at once to help you improve

can confirm that the safe spot and flinching method still works with no problem in 2021. i didnt use any food, brought a bunch of trout just in case. the demon can teleport you if you get into melee range, but as long as you flinch (click back to safe spot immediately with run turned ON), then there's no issue. the last hit has to be done with silverlight, and you cant run back to the safe spot when dealing the killing blow, otherwise his hp will hit zero, but he wont die and he'll heal up a little. so when his hp gets super low, attack him, and if you get an xp drop, stand still to see if he dies, because you need to be in melee range when he drops to zero health to actually kill him. if you dont get an xp drop or you dont do enough damage, run back to the safe spot.

That demon almost fucked me up, took my ring of life as well. Had to flinch and yeah you still have to wait for its health bar to go away. And the mort'ton quest o my goodness don't even get me started lmaoo. We still goin tho

I had to quit the fight because I couldn't flinch him with either melee or mage. Can't understand why. Watched both this guide and Slayermusiq1's, but nope. Also did almost no damage to him :/

Not sure if I was doing something wrong but the demon in SotS was sitting further away from the torch for me, i could still hide behind the torch but every time i peeked to attack a fireball was flying at me before i even hit him, sometimes he'd get two off before i got back to safety if i was too slow. so the trades were pretty one sided and ran out of food.

I'm an idiot :) I was using the south torch, still had to go get my prayer up to 37 to survive getting back in to range, but using the north torch he moved closer and allowed flinching. Did have to wait for health bar to disappear though or else he countered, and also turned off retaliate as if he did get a lucky fireball off on me it led to a chain reaction of running back in to get hit again and again. Definitely went a bit overkill with adamant armour and lobsters for healing but it got the job done, protect from magic plust better armour made it so much safer. Hope this helps anyone as new to the game as me.

Hey FX, loving the series. Really struggling with the demon though.... Are you able to flinch and safespot all the way up to just before killing him (wiki words it weird) and if this is the case is it just a long fight?

@@lukec2814 I had quite a few death runes saved up from kittens and some agility so I went hard there to get rune scims for cash. I have 49 mage but die so quick. Might go farm some lobs instead of wines too 🤨

that demon fight sucked. after 30+ 0 flinches I had to take a break and do something else, he would recover more health than i could deal :(. Otherwise this series has been amazing to come back to RS after 10 or so years away. I usually veer off for more clue scrolls/farming runs/slayer but this has been great for quests I remember hating to do xD

You don't have to make new route based on wheter you can destroy xp lamps or not, just wait to collect your reward

Guys beware. The safe spot for the demon was nerfed. The demon can now teleport you closer to him. I lost my Hardcore ironman status attempting to run out of the lair. I've died 3 times now attempting to kill the demon. I have tried using lobbies then swordfishes. Still no luck.

The safespot hasn't been altered; the demon could always teleport you closer to him. You have to click away fast enough after hitting him, otherwise he'll get an attack off, either a melee hit or a teleport.

@@TheFX Gotcha. The only difference here is if the demon cannot get to you. He will teleport you closer to him as soon as you attack him. Safe spotting is difficult now.

@@A4UDIOS As I said, nothing about the boss fight has changed - you can look through the patch notes across the last couple months if you don't believe me. The boss can only teleport you if you're within 2 squares, and that will only happen if you take too long to click away after initiating the melee attack to flinch him.
