Milestones…(Newborn-9 months Baby Update)

Hi everyone! Made this vlog as a personal journal/diary as I enter a whole new chapter of my life.
I want to watch this vlog someday and remember how me and my son survived it all just the two of us.
I was not able to video milestones from the first 4 months because I could hardly grab a phone and record unexpected achievements such as rolling over, cooing etc. It was a very hard and rough experience as a first time single mother especially with a baby who cries a lot almost all the time. Everytime I see a family bringing their babies out to malls or even out of the country, there were times I’d wonder why my baby isn’t as ‘chill’ as theirs. It was a really burning out experience to the point that I couldn’t take care of my cat “Maymay” properly. I’ve been sleep deprived up until now and my back is hurting everyday. Hands down to all the single moms out there🙇🏻‍♀️. My baby, however, loves car rides but back then, even though we are on a ride, when night time falls, he cries so bad and thats when the constant rocking comes in.
Please take some time to search colic babies up. I’ve seen so many instagram reels of parents having colic babies and I could totally relate with the experience.
My pregnancy journey wasn’t easy either. Little did I know, I would undergo harder challenges as my baby came out. Having a colic baby broke me spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. I couldn’t count how many times I’d break down due to exhaustion. Despite those, I love my baby so much and I’m just happy that it has gotten so much easier as he reaches a year old.
He still doesn’t sleep through the night because he uses me as his human pacifier and he is also teething but him currently at 9 months is so much better than the baby he was for the first 4 months.
Advance warning: Every parent has their own way of raising their children. We just want to survive each day trying to give our 100% to our babies despite the exhaustion and depression so let’s be kind. What works for me might not work for you or the other way around.

P.S: my baby doesn’t have colic anymore but he is a very needy baby. A baby with high needs who loves to cry a lot and be carried a lot. (please dont get me with comments saying its because I spoiled him with carrying. He HAD colic. I HAD to carry and rock him every single night. I HAD to keep holding him so he could sleep.)
I also make sure that he gets to go out for an hour or two outside everyday so he can feel the sun and get some fresh air.
