Jolene was awesome, those are her roots. I can say though that she's doing rock justice these days. I actually believe she's just as good of a rocker than a country singer, it's close but I believe she was truly born to rock. She seems so much more into her rock performances than compared to her country roots. She does both awesome either way but I like watching Miley Rock it out🤘

I never liked Miley tbh. A few years ago my mother showed me her version of "Jolene" and I think it became my favorite that very moment, but considered it a fluke. Last year I heard her in "Black Mirror", her voice was insanely good in the ending song. Soon after I discovered her Joan Jett and Billy Idol adventures and I can say I'm a fan.

Yes they most certainly did! That's the power and reach of Disney because she wanted out. She was the most profitable star they ever had! Overworked and underpaid! So many people still judge her on her past antics and cannot look beyond her Hannah Montana persona. Kudos to Miley for her determination to stay strong, overcome challenges and hurdles and stay relevant in a very competitive and toxic industry. She's one heck of a diverse and versatile artist flitting from one musical genre to another. She's had so many songs that were so good but overlooked over the years. Jolene - prolly my fave. The harmonies were great too. Song 2 - that belt! Song 3 - same Song 4 - the vibrato! Song 5 - the versatility damn! Song 6 - the rock! The scream! The upper register! Song 7 - the intentional voice crank! Song 8 - she has kickass taste in music Song 9 - IDGAF punk and respects the pioneers. Song 10 - pretty, mellow …etc.
