I watched this the first time through. Then I looked up the lyrics and realized what she messed up on. I give Miley credit for sticking through the rest of the song. She's an amazing singer. Who cares if she forgot the words, there are many songs she has to sing. A plus side to it is, at least we know she actually sings at her performances and doesn't lip sync! :)

I think she responded appropriately... at first I thought it would be kind of hard for a singer to forget the lyrics to their songs, but the stress of performing and other factors do have an effect on someone. Getting all the right notes or all the right lyrics is really hard, whether you're a singer or an instrumentalist! This is one of my favourite live versions of Fly on the Wall! :)
