There was just my keys and wallet what was the problem. Well I just started like it would be everyday thing with cancelling my card, calling the person who I kept my spare-key (planning a lie scenario where the key got like in lake so the rent place wouldn't renew the locks which costs a lot), saying how I gotta go inform cops about my drivers license and order new one, go to bank to get cash etc. So anyway I was just going thru that and my gf asks how am I so calm and that she would be panicking hard and not know what to do. I just said yeeaaah you don't panick anymore when you have lost important items usually black out drunk and have to handle the same bs when hungover already multiple times. Depending on a situation I might get pissed off but not really panick anymore about anything, it would need to be something quite huge to get that reaction.

I really relate to the drinking thing. People I knew in college always seem surprised when we hang out now, and I very rarely drink. Not because I was a lush in college or anything, but I would definitely normally have a drink or two in social situations/parties like most people did. But I think I mostly did it because drinking was the norm, and just kind of expected. Now that I'm older and care less about social expectations, I've realized that drinking just doesn't make me feel good. Even just one drink tends to interrupt my sleep and make me feel extra groggy in the morning. Now I might have two or three drinks in a month, and it's perfect for me. Let's stop normalizing the "big glass of wine every night after work" culture and maybe admit to ourselves that most of the time, alcohol makes it so that you aren't operating at "110%" like Miley said.

She has a Stevie Nicks sounding voice, and her talent definitely has bloomed. She did a great cover of Sweet Jane, in the style of the Cowboy Junkies.

She's right about vocals. Many think it was drugs that ruined Whitney Houston voice. But she had being touring since a kid, she actually sang "live" no protocols and sequencing. Very iconic, thanks Miley for sharing about vocals .
@Splexsychiick2 жыл бұрын
To not automatically assume it was drug would be asinine. There are other factors as well... but alcohol and drugs do ruin your voice. Vomiting and acid reflux as well....which is worsen by drugs and alcohol.

Yes it is scary. One time I got home drunk and high I was 14 or 15 and I was laughing out of my ass, I just couldn't stop for what it seems like 2 minutes. I don't know how my mom did it but she took me in and I slept it off. She didn't get mad at me or mistreated me. It's scary to think that I have a teenager now and I don't know and I wouldn't want to go through seeing my baby like that.

My guess as to why Rogan doesn't have vocal chord issues is, it's not just how much you talk...but HOW you talk. The "vocal fry" voice that so many young people have (think the Kardashian voice) probably wreaks havoc on your voice. There's a reason why serious heavy metal vocalists get lessons on how to scream/growl properly so they don't blow out their voice (like Hetfield and others did).
@Awood22072 жыл бұрын
Steven Tyler's voice is shot from all of his screams, but b/c of that he's made his raspy voice well known
@Nyxthebat042 жыл бұрын
Singing wears your voice out much more than talking. Professional singers sing constantly, that plus poor technique + smoking damaged her voice. I think she sounds great though.

Looking back at level she was at and the unimaginable things she probably was going through back then, It is good to see that she's okay now👌. She is undeniably the biggest star from Disney even after Hannah Montana. Miley has been basically tortured by the media in her peek of stardom and she was so young.

@isitsafe So because she's a young celebrity, she has no idea what it's like to have a rough life or go through hard times? Does being a celebrity make her inhuman? 🤔
@angelamiller25772 жыл бұрын
@isitsafe What is hard for one, may not be hard for another. Just because her experience differs from yours, does not mean that she hasn't dealt with any hardships. Clearly not the same kind of hardships as yours, but hardships nonetheless. We all go through them. Money doesn't negate that fact.
