Due to the damage it has deepened and become gravely. I think it fits this song ok, but I don't like it generally. I don't mind women with a slightly deeper voice, but it's the combo of deep and gravelly that seems to grate on my ears. You expect it from a guy, but not a woman. Just like I'm not attracted to women who look like guys, neither am I attracted to female voices that sound like male voice. Just my preference, and I don't care if other people like it or disagree, either way, Different strokes and all that.

I’m 50, I was a child of the 80s, a Metalhead. I always thought Miley was more of bubblegum/pop and never gave her a second thought. The first time I really sat and listened to her was plastic Hearts yesterday. What an amazing mature artist, lyrically clever, versatile even after her vocals changed. I was blown away am totally hooked and a fan for life! I’m so stoked she is exploring more rock/metal! Even if metal is just in her covers. Right on Miley! When my son was 4 I bought him a little drum set , put on some Joan Jett and told him to get his Rock on, it would help him get through life! Ain’t head banging and rock in’ out fun!!
