What I love the most about project Mili is that they don't just make music, they tell a story. It's so very wonderful to listen to it and to feel yourself transported to places you have never visited before. It's that out of the world experience where you feel the atmosphere of a different world conveyed to you by sounds. Another great work, I love how it builds and gets more exciting. The art is amazing as usual and the ear for detail a marvel, you want to listen and relisten to pick up everything. Good work!

2:23 ここのページ617というのは「Summoning 101（召喚魔術101 初級編）」の魔女が生み出した「科学的召喚魔術」の教科書のことなんでしょうね。離れ離れになったひとともう一度会うために生み出された魔術ではあったものの、その魔術を生み出した魔女は結局再会は叶いませんでした。この曲では魔女もガラハットも触れ合える距離にいるにも関わらずすれ違ってしまい、しかもガラハット0号（名前からしてプロトタイプっぽい）が存在したということは、過去に最低でも一回、この魔女は愛するひとを失っているというわけで…… こうして、歌詞から他の曲との繋がりが伺えるのが素敵です。次は幸せな結末を迎えられますように。

Maybe Lancel0t was the first attempt at the witch bringing back a lost loved one but she only brought him to "semi-completion" and ultimately failed. (The 0 in Lancel0t is like a project 0) Ga1ahad is ( Project 1) and is her 2nd attempt that turns out to be a success but he doesn't remember her. Ga1ahad (looks like hes a knight) is aligned with his kingdom maybe under a queen (My lady has spoken "Ga1ahad you will not fall" / My lady doesn't wilt) He has fought and killed many witches and has now gotten to the one who brought him back. She is upset and doesn't understand why he won't remember her ("I've done so much for you yet you treat me this way.") Its a battle of her love and his hatred for witches. Its sad but he only listens to the Queen now. "Don't be like Lancl0t" (Who died).

So here's my theory: Ga1ahad is a resurrection of a knight that died in the service of his lady. During his original life, he and his lady fought witches("The witches can't be loved, so bravely I fought") together, but when he died, she turned to witchcraft to revive him. But she knew he wouldn't approve, so she hid the fact that she was a witch from him. This song is him piecing together what the both of them have become. The song begins with Ga1ahad recalling his past, where he fought witches. It is here that he first shows suspicion of his lady, but then rebukes it with denial: "[the witches] fell and failed" but "[his] lady doesn't wilt," so surely she can't be a witch. Later, his lady invites him to a "poisoned sandwich tea party." Ga1ahad knows that witches give poisoned food to their enemies, as mentioned in "Witch's Invitation," which is why she immediately responds with "it's not poisoned after all" (as he begins to suspect). Gradually, she becomes more blatant about her witchcraft, going as far to explain what she is actually doing to him, culminating at 2:24 when she flat out says she is doing "Scientific Witchery." After that point, Ga1ahad starts to protest and begins to talk about "hav[ing] [her] slayed," which he knows is his duty as a knight. But then, seemingly out of character, he thanks her-- "I appreciate your thoughts...but you've given me too much to tolerate." The rest of the song is the both of them gradually accepting their new roles--perhaps Ga1ahad has realized he is a creature of magic now as well, and neither of them can "go back to how [they] used to be?"

Song connection theory time! This first connection is really nothing new in the comments of this video, but there are several fairly clear links between Ga1ahad and Scientific Witchery and Witch's Invitation. They both star a witch, both witches are creating/resurrecting someone(*1), both of the creations being not entirely organic(*2), Poisoned food(*3), the Witch's singing (Made up of "La/Lah," "Lu," "Li/Lee," "Tu," and "Ta" in various combinations in both songs), and the references to restarting at the end of each song(*4). From that last connection, it can be concluded that Ga1ahad comes after Invitation, as Invitation is calling for a restart, while Ga1ahad calls off further restarts. With the order figured out, it's somewhat safe to assume that Invitation is talking about Lancel0t, as the Witch in Ga1ahad says that Ga1ahad is Lancel0t's "new upgrade." I believe that Sl0t is also about a creation of the same witch, and from their point of view. There are a few lines signifying that the singer-character is partially robotic, mentioning their battery cell(*5) and their organs(*6). They also reference the same singing of the Witch(*7) and the singer is in fact a witch(*8). However, there are also lines that hint at them specifically being the same character as from Witch's Invitation, thus being Lancel0t. First off, they mention having slots in their skin, as well as referring to their body as a broken cage(*6), which could be a reference to the line "Until your semi-completion" from the beginning of Witch's Invitation. Second are the lines "The pink disappears and the black creeps upon" and "The green disappears and the purple moves on," which could be a reference to the line "Purple-black tea - Spilled on your memories." Last is the title of the song itself: the zero in Sl0t is not only replacing an O in a similar manner to Lancel0t and also adjacent to an l and t just like in Lancel0t, but also _isn't_ ever used when referring to slots in the lyrics, which is unusual after Ga1ahad and Scientific Witchery and RTRT both using the misspelled version of the word in their song's title in the lyrics, as well as world.execute(me); using the same command in the code version of it's lyrics. Both Witch's Invitation and Sl0t hint that there was also at least one stage before Lancel0t, with the end of Invitation saying "another" restart, and Sl0t stating that he has faint previous memories of the Witch(*9). I have less concrete evidence towards this, but I think Lancel0t and Ga1ahad may be attempts at bringing the Jiangshi from RTRT back to life. First off, RTRT mentions giving the Jiangshi plastic eyes, which is a specific part mentioned in Witch's Invitation. The singer-character from RTRT considers themself a mad scientist, which isn't too far from the Scientific Witchery used by the Witch. The Witch also "frivolously" and "thoughtlessly" fed Lancel0t(*10), which was a strategy used by RTRT's singer to try and bring the Jiangshi's charm back(*11). The program from world.execute(me); could even be a step in between RTRT and Witch's Invitation where the Witch tries to make an AI to simulate the Jiangshi's personality after it's head "burst," though that's really a stretch as the only even hint towards it I have is the fact that 617, the page of Scientific Witchery is also the number used for the command "world.timeTravelForTwo("AD", 617, me, you);" (*1) Invitation: "You died, survived - The Witch's reconstruction - Improvement - Extension - Progressive evolution - Until your semi-completion" Ga1ahad: "Magical potion of reanimation," "Reassemble you again," etc. (*2) Invitation: "Plastic eyes that let you see," "Forbidden plastic heart supported you far" Ga1ahad: "So I charged up my lasers," "Makes your bones stronger than steel," "Back up your thoughts to the cloud," etc. (*3) Invitation: "Poison cookies - For the Witch's enemy" Ga1ahad: "Poisoned sandwich tea party starts now" (*4) Invitation: "Followed another restart - Restart - Restart" Ga1ahad: "There's no restart but only proceed" (*5) Sl0t: "Light climbs up to my battery cell" (*6) Sl0t: "Why are my organs trying to escape this broken cage" (*7) Sl0t: "Lula tulalila - You start to sing" (*8) Sl0t: "Magical spell - Turn heaven to hell," "Witchery evolves by trial" (*9) Sl0t: "It is only the first time we meet - But it feels like I've always been with you - A sense of deja vu" (*10) Invitation: "Humbly gradually frivolously thoughtlessly - For you - Butter pancakes coated with candied blueberries - Mango yogurt sprinkled with marshmallow jelly" (*11) RTRT: "Shark fin soup or Din sum - Dumpling or Peking duck - Nothing I make is gonna bring that charm inside you back"

I think Excalibur is how it all started. It seems to be about a pair of idealistic lovers whose dreams ended up destroyed, literally. Maybe the guy died/ became paralyzed, so that's why the girl built him a cyborg body and became a witch- for immorality, so that they could continue to be together. However, something went wrong- his mind died, her body decayed, etc. Either way, in Witch's Invitation, she keeps re-building him (Lancel0t being the first) and perhaps repeating some ritual to keep her own immortality. She constantly mentions repetition. In this song, she has re-built him yet again, this time as Ga1ahad, but his mind/memories are gone and he ends up fighting for the witch's enemy. By the end of the song, however, the witch and the cyborg seem to get along again, so maybe he recovered his memories and feelings. And the witch mentions no more repeating- maybe she finally accepts his death and realizes that, no matter how many times she repeats the process, she can't get him back and can only move on.

To me it sounds like they are enemies who fell in love(Gallant Knight and Wicked Witch). While being reeeeally mayadere towards each other. The witch basically goes with the flow hence her characterization is her doing things, while the knight's characterization comes from talking about himself like he is clinging to his identity as a knight and his loyalty to his lady to resist his feelings, which also shows on the illustration by the witch falling towards him in the way how fated lovers in manga are depicted, which he tries to resist with violence but it is futile because she is still going to crash into him and she won't die either because she is immortal symbolized by the glowing wounds and the bottle of Mercury(in alchemy it was believed to be the key to immortality). Both characters drop signs of affection during characterization(dere types and their mixed signals man...), and the song literally ends with them passionately making love and there is no going back now.

put speculation here,according to comment under song , Basically I just combined the comment I saw and modified them a bit to make sense, so there we go(it's long): first of all,drop the time line. lazy version:summoning first,and invitation,then sl0t, Ga1ahad is last. Summoning 101 is the first. song in the series because the witch that popularized magic in her 617 pages of knowledge. This came to be because she successfully summoned the beast, although only his arm.magic have been found at least 1000 years, given by "a thousand years' wisdom". Later on, magic was popularized throughout the world, given "617 pages that now've became the basis of all creation". She's not the same witch in Ga1ahad because this witch has mahogany hair, not silver. The silver hair in the art comes from old age. Later on, she eventually did summon the beast because it's probably integral to her plan to popularize magic, even if it costs her her life. Witch's Invitation is second, From the connection, it can be concluded that Ga1ahad comes after Invitation, as Invitation is calling for a restart, while Ga1ahad calls off further restarts. With the order figured out, it's somewhat safe to assume that Invitation is talking about Lancel0t, as the Witch in Ga1ahad says that Ga1ahad is Lancel0t's "new upgrade." Sl0t is third, First off, both sl0t and invitation mention having slots in their skin, as well as referring to their body as a broken cage, which could be a reference to the line "Until your semi-completion" from the beginning of Witch's Invitation. Second are the lines "The pink disappears and the black creeps upon" and "The green disappears and the purple moves on," in sl0t, which could be a reference on the line "Purple-black tea - Spilled on your memories." Both Witch's Invitation and Sl0t hint that there was also at multiple stage in Lancel0t, Lancel0t wasn't perfect. It has a limit on memory, so every time his memory filled up, it restarted and he lost it all. Invitation- " Not until death do us apart. Followed another restart... Restart... Restart...". with the end of Invitation saying "another" restart, so Sl0t stating that he has faint previous memories of the Witch, Then it failed in sl0t. because it couldn't learn magic and had to restart all the time, so Ga1ahad was created. Galahad 1 and Scientific Witchcraft is last. also about a creation of the same witch, and from their point of view. They reference the same singing of the Witch and the singer is in fact a witch, and he is "the upgrade". However, there are also lines that hint at witch being the same character as from Witch's Invitation. Ga1ahad was made from the knowledge of Lancel0t as a weapon in a war or at least human-like weapon. ( basically fully from comment) on time of Ga1ahad, Ga1ahad recalling his past, where he fought witches. It is here that he first shows suspicion of his lady, but then rebukes it with denial: "[the witches] fell and failed" but "[his] lady doesn't wilt," so surely she can't be a witch. Later, his lady invites him to a "poisoned sandwich tea party." Ga1ahad knows that witches give poisoned food to their enemies, as mentioned in "Witch's Invitation," which is why she immediately responds with "it's not poisoned after all" (as he begins to suspect). Gradually, she becomes more blatant about her witchcraft, going as far to explain what she is actually doing to him, culminating at 2:24 when she flat out says she is doing "Scientific Witchery." After that point, Ga1ahad starts to protest and begins to talk about "hav[ing] [her] slayed," which he knows is his duty as a knight. But then, seemingly out of character, he thanks her-- "I appreciate your thoughts...but you've given me too much to tolerate." The rest of the song is the both of them gradually accepting their new roles--Ga1ahad has realized they are in love now, and neither of them can "go back to how [they] used to be" and they decide to go forward and see together. sooooooo, Good ending, thank you for seeing this. ex: though that's really a stretch as the only even hint towards it only have is the fact that 617, the page of Scientific Witchery is also the number used for the command "world.timeTravelForTwo("AD", 617, me, you);"

In Summoning 101, that witch had mahogany(Brown) it wasn't until many years had passed that her hair turned silver. However, she did pass on bringing back the wolf. She failed originally in summoning the wolf permanently and spent many, many long years researching until she finished the book of Summoning. All 617 pages of it.
