I can confirm the accuracy of the VH31 movement with these watches. I have owned two of these Militado watches, the 36mm and the 38mm. Both of them are very accurate. I've had the 36mm longer. I set it to the atomic clock 167 days ago, and it has gained 7 seconds. So it's 15 seconds a year fast. Amazing. I really enjoy my mechanical watches, but this proves that people's relationships with watches are emotionally driven. The VH31 movement is fairly smooth, accurate and trouble-free.

The VH31 is a bloody great movement, as I can say it according to my short experience. I had an Addiesdive 2023 modell (the Rolex Explorer 36/37mm one, you know) but I didn't liked the look of the mixed (numbers, triangle, stick type indexes) and I sold it. But the movement was about 1 or 2 sec fast within two month. And it is a true no date movement, thanks God, or rather thanks Seiko!

Nice review! I do like a lot of AR coating, but at that price it's hard to fault them. I like the VH31and think it adds a lot of value to this watch. I like that it can be had without the "crows foot", because the dial is a little busy already and I'm not attached to that particular symbol.

I wish the ML02 would stayed in production, the ML05 is way too big for me, especially the lug distance (47.5mm) for my 16cm/6.3" wrists. Maybe the shorter lug distance (44.5mm) ML08 would be better. I like the green dial, and the "Murph" style dial. I hope they will stay in production for a while.

It looks great, works well and is super affordable! What's not to love! Fair points on the criticism though, I can deal with the lume and the coke tab buckle but the AR coating would be very welcome! Take care Chris!

Good review. I bought this for my dad's birthday. He seems to like it. Specwise it's great for the money. Love the movement. My only criticism would also be the lume. If I was buying it for myself I would change the strap for a plain leather one, but my dad said he likes the strap. I got the version with the crows foot on, but the sterile dial looks nice too. It would make a classy beater watch. I would wear it while gardening.
