WHY ONLY ON KOUTRUK VILLAGE ? Yesterday incident of bomb attacks leading to the reported death of a woman and injuring few others at Koutruk (a Meitei village), was even condemned by the state Home Department and also stated that the state govt views it seriously. Yes, any kind of attack on unarmed people, does not qualify justification. Then, how about several thousands of unarmed Kuki- Zo tribals in and around Imphal city attacked, killed, raped, women paraded naked, rape and killed, houses and churches burnt. All the household properties from the unburnt houses were also looted. Where was the Home Department of the state govt at that time ? Why was the state govt not taking it seriously ? Those incidents in and around Imphal were not one-hour-period incidents but it all happened days and nights together but not a single police personnel to stop the criminals. Now Koutruk village is attacked and some burning and damages have been caused and the state govt is so interested and views it seriously. In fact the Kuki Kuki-Zo volunteers never attack unprovoked now also for the Koutruk incident attack might be due to first attack from the Meitei terrorists. Koutruk is only a single village but those tribals of Imphal were in about 12 villages/ localities. I appreciate the state govt to have taken a serious view on Koutruk but why not upon the Kuki-Zo villages in Imphal and all adjoining areas ? Is this justified ? Very bad ! This is the reason why a mega public rally was organised the day before yesterday by Kuki-Zo tribals. Why are the Kuki-Zo people targeted ? Thousands of govt arms were given to Meitei terrorists so that they may eliminate the Kuki-Zo tribals. Would it not be more appropriate to take a serious view on all violence related incidents ?
