They do that all the time. Eagle drivers will carry the nose all way down the runway too.

It's hard to slow an f16 down lol keeping the nose up is the best way on a shorter runway

The cross winds last year at AirVenture were just brutal. Not favorable for either runway. So disheartening to see the aircraft that ground looped during landing. A thrill of a lifetime to fly to AirVenture, and then end up bending your airplane. That has to sting. I think the F-16 has a skid plate to protect the engine nozzle (but I may be wrong). Sure looks like this one scraped the runway at the 5:18 mark.

It was pretty bad. An O-1 Bird Dog landing in the far runway did some off-roading as a result of it, got banged up pretty bad. Iirc they even stopped using that runway all together for a bit and diverted all traffic to the East/west runway.
