I was the first person to suggest playing "Las Nubes" by Little Joe y Johnny e La Familia back in 1988...We had our last UIL Marching Contest @ the old Robstown High School so our Band Director suggested we as students come up some songs. So we, me and some of my friends went into the ass't. Band Directors office and I offered Las Nubes because of those beautiful Trumpet arrangements and it reflected to me at the time a culmination of the prior twenty years of our Tejano Musical Roots.
