Slower planes doesn’t always mean it’s bad. The reason fighting ground targets is hard with a hydra or laser is because they are too fast and hard to control. So for most dogfights and fighting ground targets you might need a b-11 strikeforce or lf2 starling because they have the ability to slow down and be more controllable

As cool of an aircraft as the f22 is, it’s not built for air to ground attacks. A better air to ground attacker would be the A10 (B11 in the game so no need for a mod), hydra or a f35b mod (the b model has the ability of VTOL: Vertical Take-Off and Landing).
