Hello everybody welcome back, we have a lot of good information today to give you about military romance scams, email scams , scams in general and the SIGNS and RED FLAGS to look out for!
Since you're here visiting the channel you are already doing yourself one of the BIGGEST favors you can do for oneself, education!!! It is imperative that you protect your hard earned money and know the signs when someone is trying to scam you and take your money.
Scammers typically work in large criminal networks or organizations and it is possible that when you are a victim of a scam that you are not just talking to one person but many. These individuals scam others for a living and this is how they make their money, they may have you and 20 other people on the hook (Talking, texting, flirting, chatting etc.). It is your job to understand the signs and the red flags when they present themselves!! This video is going to help you identify these red flags before you become a victim. DO NOT BE FOOLED!

Yeah I even had that happen on eHarmony years ago. I met a young lady and hit it off. After a couple months I was at her place watching a movie and had to get home for college in the morning. I was on my motorcycle and had a long drive home on a really cold night. She wanted me to stay the night but I felt like I shouldn't, she offered to drive her jeep home. I took my bike though, she said make sure you call me when you get home. I said it was going to be late when I do, she said that's fine. I called and heard " who the f is calling my wife at 3 in the morning" turns out her husband was deployed military and came home unannounced. I probably would have been killed in my sleep had I stayed. I wanted to sue eHarmony for not doing any basic marriage research on their clients

I have been having men with military pictures in my DM on Instagram. I had one guy tell me the craziest lie that his wife died from falling down the stairs and also that he was looking for a friend but didn’t find that friend. Theses people need to be taken down and in prison.

The guy was SO pissed I exposed him, bc he'd been using that bait profile for so long, that when I reported it & it was taken down, they all went after my REAL Instagram (that I literally had for 14 yrs since it came out.) Something I can never get back. Thankfully it was set to private & I didn't accept his request. Pictures & info of nearly half my life just GONE, bc of 1 POS scammer. So it helps to atleast try to keep ur things as private as possible, not that ppl shouldn't be able to post. It was still somewhat worth it tho, bc before I exposed them & reported the profile, I messaged about 100 or so women, the same message to warn them & u wouldn't believe how many of them fell for it & many of which had given $ &/or thought they were in a relationship with them & many of which believed they still were. So, as horrible as is was to lose something I had for so damn long, that I valued for the memories on it, I was able to warn countless women. The only reason I even picked up that he was a scammer was thanks to my military background & dating history when younger...lol

Appreciate this video. I was contacted on messenger by a person using the profile Sergeant James Parrott, within 2 wks he started asking for money, for amazon gift cards, then he asked for Bitcoin. Other signs to watch out for: *Scamming under one name on social media & using another name in chat app *Incessantly "liking" your social media posts, especially really old ones & early on *Following your social media friends, including close real friends, after you threaten/promise to cut the line for good (happened to me) Very informative & well done. You speak very well. I'm also surprised police officers don't have their photos stolen/used by scammers overseas. I recently went through a catfish situation. The guy I was talking to said he needed to mail me his check, cash it, and then mail it to his parents in Trinidad. So it wasn't him asking me for money but this would be money laundering. So you have to watch for this scenario.

I never knew something like this existed. I am not active on Instagram and for the first time I thought of giving it a shot talking to a Stanger and make friends. He was so well behaved and said is in US military officer posted in Syria. We chatted for a week . He was dream come true but few things made me suspicious. In a week, war happened, introduced to his kids, told parents were dead long ago , wife died 4 years ago. Needed money for leave, when I read about military leaves are free, I confronted him he got furious. Then he said it's emergency leave for his replacement, I read again and share the article told him he is lying. He got angry and tried emotional blackmailing but i denied any monetory help. He then stopped talking. I am happy I found in less than 2 weeks but I feel sad coz he felt so perfect.

I'm still confused coz he speak like American as he said he is from US and even he sent pictures wearing his uniform.It might be photo shop but his tatoo on his hand and chest is same as the pictures with civil dresses.There is one question always comes in my mind that if he is a scammer then why did he give some Indians account details to me, what will he gain from that?..He would give his own or their teams account details from out of India. I wasn't sure at first but I figured it out in a few days with my "military" romance scammer. I dodged the the money part of my romance scammer bs, but omg everything you've said in your video my "military" guy said the same things you mentioned. Dude didn't want to talk on the phone, didn't want to do video chat, got mad with me through text because I tried to call him on texting network call signal. He tried so hard to keep the scam going he was like, I'm going to come and visit you when I put in my leave request. He even sent me pictures of himself and a picture of his military picture id. He also claimed he was in a meeting and his unit was getting bombarded with the enemy attacks. I'm like even if that was true, isn't that classified information?😂

I've come across a few scammers and I've heard their deployed to africa and need to buy out their contracts to get home. (No military person has to buy out their contract) "They need to ask their commander before they can call me." They can't send me recent pictures because they had something happen at their base and aren't allowed. I have dated military in past. Real military people will give you their duty station without question. Especially! if they are serious about dating you.

Travis, I think I have a huge problem. I met someone on a site. They immediately wanted to leave it and go to Google Chat. I’ve had many invites to that, have always declined. This person seemed so genuine. Shortly after we began talking on Chat, this person tells me about an incredible gift they received. As time goes on, they ask for $$$ to ship it home. I protested and protested and said no. Well, as time went on, they needed $$$ for storage. That’s where I fell in. I did that photo reverse thing that you’ve mentioned and low and behold…lol So besides stopping communication, what else do I do? There are so many details that I would like to share with you. How do we go about this. Oh, by the way, this person says that they’re in the Army and stationed in Iraq.

Nowadays a person claiming to be Alex Malachosvki , US Army, sends whatsapp messages randomly and I got one, the person uses pictures of said person! I also got whatsapp messages from persons pretending females from Hong Kong and "looking for a male friend in europe from schooltime" to get in touch again and there were severals! I matched with a girl on a dating app. She said she can't video chat because: "I work with the military monitoring unit and we’re responsible for monitoring the us military gadgets like bombs,jets and missiles with our tracking device." Says her "device is voice encrypted it’d send signals to our main base" and could her get in trouble so she can't talk or video chat. Her contract restricts her from all of those things. Sounds like total bs but is there such a thing?

I have experienced many cases, such as being in Yemen, generally women, having children in America two in number, asking for money or ghift cards, itunes. And when we showed them the reality, that account blocked me later. There are many cases, and it's a shame that so many people fall into the trap

It is true that they work in gangs - that is why the refer to their victims as "honey", "my love", "my wife" and "my queen" etc. They don't know the victim's name and they don't particularly want to know!

Thank you so much for this video. This dude that I was talking to for a few day must of thought I was a DAMN Fool like I wasn’t going to do my research on this gift card he was asking for. He asked me to get a Steam card for him because he uses it for Wi-Fi connection. Thank goodness I didn’t and I blocked him too.

Yes, most banks have the ability to be accessed with a wifi signal. As far as ATM availability that is location dependent. In short, yes we have access to funds all over the world no matter where we are, typically. - Travis

I was once had a LDR with US Army Burk deployed in West Africa. We haven't had the chance to video call as well as voice call because his reasons were: inside the camp they are not allowed to video or voice call...only through messages only. I & Burk were in WhatsApp. Our intimate relationship started on April 12-13, 2020 & lasted only last August 23, 2020. I started to doubt him as scammer because he wanted me to pay for his vacation leave & we will meet & plan for our wedding. The amount he mentioned was US$350. Since I'm already aware of the scams in social media I firmly said I don't have money to pay for it & he said he has no access to his bank ATM. I didn't send money to him. Later I found out he has 3 instagram accounts including the account we are chatting. He denied the other 2 accounts. With the help of my US Army friends he was tracked down that he is a scammer. A black guy from Delta State, Nigeria. The FBI is incharged of him already.
