Air force aged my father like that. But then again, probably had something to do with him being a Nuclear weapons specialist...duties involved the obvious and anything dealing with ordinance. One time bomb lift hydraulics malfunctioned and continued to raise, crushing a cluster bomb canister between the lift and the plane's wing. Guess who had to disarm the bomblets lol. Long story short sorting it out involved a hospital stretcher, an empty hanger, a cordon, and telling the co to get lost to not witness the sketchy shit they was about to do to do their job lol

So at 4:25 I could be wrong but I do recall that being the mechanic presenting the pilot the tools in the toolkit so that the pilot can visually verify they are all there and not left behind to become FOD. Small tools plus engines plus a floating runway is a recipe for disaster.
