I'm a young teen Christian and I've been praying daily and nightly, asking God to forgive the sins I've commited from the time I was born to now. All sins past, present, and future are forgiven once you gain that salvation, you cannot lose it because of sin. Your salvation is by the belief of Yeshua Hamashiach as your Lord and Savior not by the works that you do. The works you do and obedience you have to the commandments of Yahweh will be judged when you get to heaven, as the same for the sin you commit and the disobedience you live in. You should live in obedience to the Lord in your new body of Christ, but that work is not required to gain your salvation nor will you lose your salvation because of it. So I felt the need to share something, hopefully this man hears my message. I know the pain of taking a life. I had an abortion. And whatever my reasons and justification at the time, my unbelief that i couldn't care for this child and lack of support and influence around me. When I had actually had the abortion i knew the pure evil that i had done. I knew there was nothing i could do to change the decision i had made. I cried constantly for days i went through rolls and rolls of tissue i was crying so much. I felt like I did not deserve to live, i got suicidal. I thought if i took away the chance to live for my own child i shouldnt live another day. I thought the only way to make the evil i had done right was to take my life. And i realized that thoses thoughts were lies from the enemy. Knowing the truth of what jesus went through on the cross and how he paid the penalty of all the sin of the world. What i was going to tell jesus sorry not good enough? All the suffering, all the pain, all the misery he went through wasnt good enough for this one sin. When he clearly says he takes away the sin of the world. Now when you know the weight of your sin, and God gives you mercy for it. And you both know you dont deserve it. Thats hard to go through. Its hard to accept. Its hard to realize that theres someone who loves you that much. Now if I wouldve killed myself what good would have come from that. Im not free of sin like jesus was. It would have only brought more pain to my family. And i didn't ask for forgiveness right away, it took a long time for me to pray and ask for forgiveness. And it wasnt me saying to God oh make me right again. It was me confessing to God i know the wrong i have done. It was acknowledging before God that i had done evil and nothing was going to take that away except the grace of God. I've cried multiple times over this and still pray about it when i feel the pain of it. I hope me sharing this story could help this man or someone. I also want to say that realizing Gods mercy towards me and his love towards me. I knew he loved my child. And where i fail to love this child God loved this child. And i found comfort in knowing that i didnt need to worry about my child anymore because God had my child and God loves my child and God created my child and God is in control. And now after going through that and seeing Gods mercy and love I have this hope inside me that my child is safe and loved, even if i wasnt the one to provide that.

do you know what it says in 1 John 1:9? "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to purify us from all unrighteousness." In God's eyes, you are completely forgiven. Psalm 103 says, "as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." It only comes through Jesus. Praise Him and thank Him for His indescribable gift of forgiveness. I know it can be hard to forgive yourself, but if He can forgive us, how can we not forgive ourselves? He is the source of all wisdom and truth, and He loves you with an everlasting love. And some day, you will get to see your child again. Bless you.

Sometimes we are just not aware that it is Pride that made us thinking that way. To say that God cant forgive me unless i forgive myself first is same as saying that I am better than God or that I am God of myself because I'm the one to forgive myself and not God as if we have committed the sin to ourselves but the truth is all sins are commited against God it is to God that we are sinning first before tp ourselves or to anyone else. To ask God's forgiveness is to be humble and recognize you are nothing and that God is everything and will make you something only in Him and through Him.

The words Dave chose should have been eye opening when thinking back. He said the burden he carries is too heavy and he needs to be able to forgive himself first…. The Bible says, that burden is not ours to carry and to let Jesus take that burden and allow him to forgive you! The fact that he is unwilling to hand this over to Jesus is Satan telling him that Jesus can’t take it away. He needs to stop allowing satan to make him doubt the power of Jesus because that is the only thing keeping him from salvation.

To follow up on that…. IF the national policy that brought that country into war is considered sinful, God will Judge those who made that decision with full knowledge and malice. If the commanders of that war order their troops to engage in actions God decides is sinful, god will judge those commanders . If a soldier on his own engages in actions that are unnecessarily violent…..then and only then will God Judge the soldiers. IF a soldier chooses a pacifist course of action God will not judge that soldier a coward or traitor. BUT KNOW THIS God also says it is our duty to defend the weak and to use lethal force in defense of those around them….. Or was David condemn to Hell for slaying Goliath ?????
