I don't get how Trump is going to lower Oil Prices enough that'll pressure Russia. This would require one of two things. *First Option: The US puts more Oil on the market.* The issue here is that Biden emptied reserves and damaged developing oil companies. Not to mention that shipping Oil to China has the same problem as shipping it to Europe just now over the Pacific, it wouldn't be cheap compared to Russia which is right there and is already working together with in developing a pipeline to transpory it over land (granted that itself will take time). The next best thing I can think of is that the Oil will be pumped out of Syria or similar countries. *Second Option: Manipulate Oil Prices Down.* The US already did this to hurt Russia, the result is that +OPEC joined BRICS to protect their own interest. Quite literally these countries alreadh went to China and asked _can we please sell our oil to you for a reasonable price_ and the response was _sure, just do it in Yuan as we're in the middle of dumping the dollar_ and so on so forth. Honestly, I think that ultimatum is just for the camera. Trump at least said two things that are reasonable. Kiev is lying about its deaths which are much higher than he previously mentioned during day one in office (700k) and he wants to meet with Putin as soon as possible.

I do believe that the Russian sell there oil and gas on long term contracts. If oil and gas goes to $1 for a day or two it means nothing on 5y or 25y contract

Nothing new about that big strike of that concentration of vehicles/forces in the sloviansk area? Curious to get an update on that, estimated damages etc. It could be a really big thing tbh. Ukraine is focusing on oil refinerys. Dont Russia have oil refinerys further back inland that isnt so vulnerable. Ofc that makes the logistic of fuel and oil take alittle bit longer but its way safer. After all, Russia is the largest nation on earth and can use facilities further back to safe it up. Or is fuel/oil to the front not the problem here? is it that Ukraine/west want to hurt Russias export of oil specifically? Thoughts boys?
