Grand races are great but they're far too chaotic to be the only pvp mode. We need smaller lobbies that accumulate points over 5/6 races

A racing mode with your category of choice and a vs drift mode would be nice. Even a touge style 1v1 race mode would be nice and would probably be easier to get races for unlike derby.

@@IdotSingh we have a race track with multiple routes and monico inspired tracks and its only locked to pve theres soo much wasted content in this game and its sickening the agera r is number 1 because all grand races are is long road 2 bendy roads and then more long roads imagine a grand race that goes into alpha gp then rally in the track

Btw, dropping your 'Shadows' and 'Environment' in the settings should give you a lot more FPS and it doesn't really take away from the games visuals

Yeah for some reason shadows are poorly handled by the game. The optimization is all great except for the shadows. I'm literally running 100fps on max settings on all options except shadows but the moment i turn shadows to high its down to 75 fps

I only play Grand Races when I need to grind money. They are NOT fun. I want to play against people with actual skill, not a bunch of 12 year olds in meta cars who are taking shortcuts and ramming into everyone. The one thing I hate about the Crew franchise is that you basically have to cheat to be successful. I don't want to cheat. I want to race. I can do an absolutely FLAWLESS New York race in the Crew 2 and because I don't take shortcuts, my time is still 10 full minutes behind the top times on the leaderboards. It's really annoying. The only way I know I'm improving as a driver is to just log and compete against my own finish times. The leaderboard is absolutely meaningless as a metric of actual skill.

Um, honestly the reason why people speed blitz the rest of the players in grand race is becuz of the driving skills. They played a lot of grand races and have a lot of knowledge on all the routes and shortcuts. Plus they know when to execute and drive to a shortcut. If you think about earning money, you might as well just play in a playlist, instead of playing at grand race. Probably that explains why you ended up in a 14-20th positions cuz you are trolling

​@@jsfyxzuf117 Everyone's so defensive. Lmao I'm getting beaten because I don't use shortcuts or exploits like guttering. My NYC races in the Crew 2 aren't competitive because I don't do massive offroad shortcuts. ....and I think you're misunderstanding me, because I'm not mad about it. Lol I absolutely LOVE TC2 and Motorfest. I just don't take the competition aspect seriously because of how the exploits are built into the game. It's an arcade racer. That's just how arcade racers are. I play the Crew for the open world aspect, not to compete. If I want to do _actual_ races and use actual driving skill, I'll play Assetto Corsa. That's why Sim racers exist.

@@BabyShinobu. Trolling? Huh? Nah, I just don't like the grand races for the same reason I didn't like a lot of the PVP races in GTA online. There's just too much chaos for me personally. I have nothing against anyone who likes them and has skill at them. They just aren't for me. When I said "12 year olds in Meta cars", I wasn't talking about serious players like Trigger. ..and I fully admitted that I lose because I refuse to use shortcuts and exploits. I'm not blaming anyone. It's my own choice to be stubborn. Lol I actually grind most of my money and buy most of my cars in Crew 2 and just port the cars over to Motorfest, which I basically just use as an open world sandbox.

HOW IS THERE STILL NO OTHER PVP MODES then grand racing is beyond me. Grand races are fun sure, but for it to be the only viable pvp mode is crazy. It would be so easy to create new game modes, even converting existing single player races to pvp would make the game so much better.

That’s not really how pro settings work. Pro settings do not affect car performance. They are completely preference. You should try both to see which feels better to you personally and then go from there.

There's not really a better option though, the tunes all vary by who tunes and drives them. Like I can't use Ryno's tune because it just slides everywhere. Akor's tunes are decent but feels meh, Kingdom's tune are responsive but understeers on high speed courses, I personally just take a random tune and tinker with it myself. (Aka I never tried Trigger's tune lol)

I am the type of XBOX gamer that has to use my phone as WiFi HotSpot. It's forcing me away from games I have played since I was a kid and it drains my phone's battery connecting to be online. Game developers do not think about poor people, little things or have any form of actual customer service. Forza Horizon will be always better than TCM because it has offline playlists, offline play and offline save. Horizon has the advantage.

@@Runnygraph20 I use game pass ultimate and set to offline. Game pass ultimate lets you play games offline as long as you update itz reconnect and go back to offline. You can keep game pass games when they take them off if you buy the DLC/Premium Add On Bundles which is decent. Playstation does not have any racing games you can play offline and Xbox has a lot.

I don't bother grand racing anymore. Is the worse concept ever. It works great on the game that they took the idea from (Riders Republic). But not here. You either have to be extremely sweaty, or extremely lucky. No fun. Turn down the player count or bring a ghosting mode, or even a mode like in Riders Republic where depending on the week, everyone is forced to race with the same car that the game provides (with no tune). Then we see who's actually good. It amazes me that this and demolition are the only pvp. With a map so big, the ideas are unlimited. Remember the pvp modes from Dirt 3? You even had "catch" which was awesome with that game's driving physics. They make an all online game, but it lacks so much on the online experience.
