Milk Baked Pork Chops Recipe:
6 boneless pork chops,
seasonings for the meat: salt, pepper, merjoram, sweet paprika, granulated garlic (or use your favourite blend of pork seasonings instead)
for the sauce:
400 ml of milk,
1 bay leaf,
2 kernells of allspice,
a pinch of nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste,
1-2 tsp of flour or starch mixed with 1/3 cup f water or milk
Beat your meat using a meat mallet, until thin. Sprinkle with seasonings. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan, add the meat and sear, until golden on both sides. Arrange in a baking tray.
Heat 400 ml of milk with spices. Pour it over the meat and bake for an hour in 180 C (or until the meat is very tender). Feel free to add more milk, if evaporates too quickly, during baking. Place the meat on a platter. Strain the milk and pour it into small pan. Gradually add some slurry (flour with milk or water) and heat, until thickens. Check the seasonings. Pour the sauce over pork chops. Serve with potatoes, rice, dumplings or some noodles. Enjoy!
