I love both dark and milk - depends on my mood but I would never turn down either. I don't care for white "chocolate" though. Lindt is so yummy!

@@jbjacobs9514 I think white chocolate only works in small doses. It is chocolate, real "white" chocolate is made from cacao butter, which is the essence of cacao bean. It just does not have the solids. A lot of cheaper bars do not have enough cacao butter though, which is why they are candy bars. that being said, I am partial do dark chocolate myself, or at least milk with a high cacao percentage. e.g. "dark" milk chocolate.

Oh, about 5 years ago my teenage nephew visited from the west coast, and he had zits all over his face. In his luggage he had miniature Kit Kat, M&M, Musketeers, Hershey bars…I took all of it from him and replaced it with Ritter and Cadbury (UK Cadbury-found it in the Russian section of our international store); in one week, one week, his face cleared up, one week. Changed the ice cream to Haagen Daz, and donuts to Belgium, (can find Belgium chocolate donuts at “Dough’s”😊).

The Cadbury made in South Africa is the best. I don't like the British version. Im sure if you had a South African Cadbury bar there, you would have liked it. It is my favourite. Yes, the Lindt is smooth and milky. The best mlik chocolate is Cote d'Or. But, it is rich, therefore you can only eat 2 blocks and not the whole slab at once.

That's too bad that Hershey's makes the Cadbury in the US... Over here in Canada it is not made by them and it's a huge favorite for us. Cadbury can't be beat!

The ones with Andrew and Kevin are fun and funny. The sad part about the Cadbury is that many don’t know to go to World Market to try UK Cadbury. So they stay fooled. You can’t beat Lindt! The flavor and creaminess is just delicious I haven’t tried the Symphony, so I will definitely be looking for that one. Thanks for a great review.

Hard to beat Walmart ‘s Great Value Milk Chocolate bar, 3.2 ozs, for -- $1.12 ! Dont know if you have tried it . Something would have to be a lot better to make me pay 2-3 times the price for it . Eating some right now and tastes great to me .

I always assumed Cadbury was imported so it’s interesting to know it’s made by Hershey’s. My favorite chocolate bar is Lindt, it’s really creamy and has the perfect balance between milk and sweetness for me. Cadbury’s okay but symphony does beat it.

Write other comment before watching… the Aldi brand would be interesting too… I love the blind taste tests and I think I’ve seen all the them so far… the ones with Andrew and Ashley are really fun… maybe they’ll make a cameo on the channel soon… I’m not sure if you would do a blind taste test on a few different butters… land o lakes, maybe great value, Aldi, maybe another national brand or organic?

Yummo video! I am a Lindt person for sure! I love Cadbury too. I do like Hershey a lot - for some reason, Symphony is a tiny different than a regular Hershey but not by far. It's chocolate so with a few rare exceptions, it is hard to screw up.

That statement about Cadbury should be a PSA for many people! I have bought so many different types of Cadbury chocolates over the years, but I have never understood the British appeal of them to the extent where some people in the UK consider American chocolate to be garbage compared to a that.? Cadbury tastes fine, but nothing exceptional. Doesn't even come close or compare to things like a Milka, Lindt, or Toblerone. However, I'm really intrigued to try some imported Cadbury chocolate now to see how different they are!

British living in Spain. Hate dark chocolate as given Ex Lax and Brooxlax as a laxative as a child. Only ever eat milk chocolate. My international supermarket sells the best food of the different European companies. My immediate neighbours are Dutch, Swiss, German, Spanish. We see Lindt chocolate commonly here. My niece works in Zurich and regularly gifts us expensive Swiss chocolate. Imagine my delight when seeing Hershey Bars in that supermarket. I was tempted to buy a few bars but held back. There was a lot there. I could soon repeat. Thank goodness I didn't It was like taking a handful of sugar and stuffing it in my mouth. No flavour. The bars languished there. A few more were bought. The exercise was never repeated. The supermarket never brought more in. I know our food standards are higher. For me authentic Cadburys can't be beaten.

THANK YOU for doing my suggestion!!! Having tried all four, my ranking going into the video was the same as both of yours at the end. I have heard that Hershey's Symphony doesn't contain butyric acid like their original chocolate. It is a byproduct of the original's cooking process. (It isn't listed as an ingredient since it is a byproduct.) It's what gives Hershey's its distinctive "tang," which is often disliked by non-Americans who are not used to it. Butyric acid being in the original but not the Symphony fits exactly with your observations about one having more bite!

The Cadbury Roast Almond American bar is still decent, imo, even after changes made over the years. I can finish one of those off easily in one sitting. One that would have been interesting here is Dove's bar. I swear they've changed it sometime recently, and the taste has gone wayy down. I used to think that was the better milk chocolate bar.

About 10 yrs ago, while visiting the UK, I ate some chocolate, and did not break out with acne. Came home, never ate American chocolate again, only European. Now, ice cream and chocolate cake mix, in the US, the same, acne. Not sure what ingredient is inferior in the American chocolate, but I do miss it. I do make a chocolate kahlua holiday cake, and I always get a zit, even at 61, when I do eat it. My favorite European chocolate: Belgium, Cadbury, German, Turkish (No acne on my face or back).

I actually think most grocers (at least Kroger & Fred Meyer) have a small EU or British section where you might be able to find authentic Cadbury

I really enjoyed this video! I guess I am going to have to try to go to World Market and get a Cadbury bar because I have always viewed it as just your average run of the mill chocolate. Lindt is outstanding. Have you tried their Intense Orange? It's very nice!

I SO agree with you on the American Cadbury, Hershey's has ruined it. I only buy the Cadbury eggs at a local British store because they are the real deal. Also, everyone always forgets about Godiva, it's my favorite! I've done a ranking myself and Godiva beat both Lindt and Ghirardelli for me! I can only find the Godiva bars at Kohls.

Try the Galaxy bar from the UK. Also , please try Alpine Milk chocolate bars by both Milka and Ritter Sport brands.

I thought you might do this comparison when I saw these in your haul. I’m assuming the Cadburys is an American Cadburys? Straightaway I’m calling that the Lindt will stand out for texture and flavour. I called it😀. I am surprised that the Cadburys doesn’t taste like Hershey Kiss chocolate. Thanks for the review.

Cadbury used to be extremely delicious 🤤 😅nowadays is just goood👍 lol I like the Cadbury raisin&nuts 🤭 Lindt is gooooood but only the long long tablets Lindt Large Swiss Milk Raisin and Hazelnut Gold Bar 👈👌👌👌 the milk chocolate also delicious but it needs to be the gold bar 👌lol mmmm the hersheys is the classic and I love it lol
