Milking my heifer for the first time/I have been working with her for a year.

Thank you for this! I have a first time heifer that will be calving this winter and this was such a good lesson. I have been VERY spoiled with my Jersey, she was a pregnant heifer when we got her but she has been a dream to milk and I do not even really remember having to do much training to milk her. That was 5 years ago now and we will have our second milk cow after the heifer calves.

My heifer had a bull calf 9/16 at 6 pm so we are in similar position
