Every Sunday we went to my grandma’s house and I’d be sitting with him watching flipnotes or going through his photo library with music, since the DSi had that and the regular DS didn’t. Honestly, there are some of those things from your childhood that just don't stand up to today's standards anymore, like some cartoons that you might have enjoyed as a child or those crappy flash games that I grew up with, but there's still that lovely aspect of nostalgia in there which always just hits me while revisiting some old games that I played in the past, that to someone who didn't experience them at the time, would seem boring, and wouldn't understand how you enjoy them. Nostalgia is something truly beautiful, in my opinion, whether it'd be about a videogame, a friendship, or a certain period of your life. It's a feeling we should all cherish and indulge in, every once in a while, to remind ourselves of our past and the things that brought us here.

Funnily enough a DSi XL is exactly what I have. It was my first console that I got around 2013 and that thing brought me so much joy, even though I played almost exclusively mario kart on it. It's also *incredibly resilient* I have dropped that thing in all manner of places and it only has a busted left on the D-pad to show for it. It's outlasted my 3DS, 2 ipads, 3 laptops and 2 phones. It's remarkable.

Some kinda problems or whatever you wanna call it with the video: 1:05 That's a OG DS (Or a Fat DS if you wanna call it that) NOT a DS Lite. 1:17 That's... not at ALL what a DS, 3DS, or ANY Nintendo handheld looks like looks like. (The bottom is like a GBA with the top screen of a 3DS) 1:19 Ok, but like, the DS had an AMAZING battery life, sure it's POSSIBLE, but just very unlikely (If this was a 3DS we're talking about it'd be a different story) 1:21 NO DS, 3DS, or even the GBA SP had a charger that went in the SIDE. 1:30 Ok 3 things about THIS one 1. How on EARTH is Flipnote Studio on the OG DS? Even if this WAS a DS Lite, THAT doesn't run Flipnote studio EITHER. 2. Flipnote Studio is NOT a base app, for ANY DS, even the DSi, so it MUST'VE been a pre-owned DS (At least the WOULD explain point 3 with the battery life) 3. Why is the home menu on the TOP screen? It's NEVER been on the top screen, on any DS/3DS handheld. This is NOT suppose to be a negative comment, just kinda, well, actually I don't know what you'd call it, just know I'm not trying to be exact, but I just don't really want people thinking some of this stuff is how it's SUPPOSED to be.
