jgkdbgkjd nooo I totally get what you mean though, that's how I feel when seeing sketches from artists I admire :,) Just keep in mind that you will always compare yourself to someone else, so don't let that stop you from creating!
@artcatdraws42033 жыл бұрын
Good artists almost only ever show their best drawings. So of course it’s going to look good. But for every one great drawing they also have thousands of crappy ones so don’t feel bad! Lol

Its so nice and reassuring to see someone actually struggle with a sketch to be honest. SO many videos i watch it seems like it goes from a quick sketch to a full art work and in a way i feel like i struggle too much. Because they always make it look so simple. So thank you for such a detailed drawing process!

I feel you!!! It's okay if you struggle, as long as you're happy with the final product! Your process is what made you get there, after all!

I’m not sure if someone’s already said this, but if you connect a keyboard to your iPad (it doesn’t have to be the apple keyboard), you can set and use keyboard shortcuts in clip studio! Just in case you want to keep the touchscreen but add on keyboard shortcuts

It's so nice to see an artist talk about the struggles of creating, that making mistakes is okay and because no one is perfect and everyone is learning we should be able to trust the process even in the hardest times of creating💙I use clip studio on my computer and I love the recording speedpaint feature

Hehe I'm glad it's relatable! Some of my sketches come out so easily and effortlessly, but a lot of them I actually really struggle with... It's usually not a bad feeling though, I think it's exciting trying to find solutions to the problems that keep appearing in the illustration hehe

Heyo! I'm glad u liked my little advice :,) We're all guilty of it though, it okie! And I love procreate! It's basically the most perfect a drawing and painting app can get, and they keep updating it with new features! I'd like to work on my computer and get used to industry terms though, so I'm getting to know Clip Studio on my Ipad so that the final transition to a computer and a drawing tablet will be smoother hehe

Consider getting an 8BitDo Zero and mapping its buttons to use with CSP. That way, you can have tangible ‘hot keys’ similar to a keyboard and keep your touchscreen (and save a ton of money). For really good instructions on how to set up the controller with your iPad and CSP, I suggest watching Limo Channel’s video “How to use an 8BitDo Zero 2 controller with Clip Studio Paint on iPad.”

Your art is amazing! I wanted to ask how you determine where to put warmer tones on the edge of your shadows?
@milkywaes3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!! Hmm, I believe you're talking about subsurface scattering! It has to do with the way the light interacts with the object, and how it penetrates it, creating those saturated hues on the edge of a couple shadows. Not all shadows have that saturated edge though, it depends on the angle that the light hits the object! I honestly dont know much about it myself, so I recommend you do your research on it, now that you know the name of the phenomenom!
