this show.. I was in this production, I was a freshman. I'm the little spoon at 1:00:55. The girl who played Belle's name is Leah, and she's a wonderful actress and an even more wonderful person. Sam is Lumiere, and the girl in the yellow dress is one of my good friends, Elaine. It makes me so happy that so many people love our show, it's my favorite production I ever did in high school. The theatre department at Mill Creek High School is EXTREMELY talented and always produces great shows. I wish there were more we could post. Especially last year's production of the Addams Family. @@andreabauschek335 we only rented cogs worth, the wardrobe, and Mrs. Potts and I'm not sure where they were from. All of the other costumes are student/parent made, specially bought, or pieces we spruced up from our existing clothing in the costume closet.

absolutely fantastic cast; the brilliant actor who plays gaston reminds me very much of luke evans' version!! lumiere, cogsworth and the rest of the household staff are *beyond amazing* (mrs potts and the armoire have gorgeous voices and the wonderful actress playing babette is just *marvelous*)!! the execellent actor playing the beast radiates an immense amount of humanity and leaves you understanding the beast as a fully-fledged character whenever he sings; it's beautiful!! the actress playing belle is one of a kind this cast blends together so well, reminding me of the cast of 2017's "sweeney todd: the demon barber of fleet street" done by 'guilford' high school

I just don't understand why just about every amateur production of Beauty and the Beast shows Beast straight up murdering Gaston by throwing him out the window/off the tower. Not only is it completely out of character for the Beast by this point in the show, but it contradicts him sparing Gaston 15 seconds earlier. Gaston falling to his death is meant to be accidental and mostly on Gaston's part.
