Millais School was one of the first schools in England to be granted teaching school status by the National College for School Leadership.
The scheme included a review of the secondary school’s existing estate and an assessment of the type and quantum of accommodation required for a 1500 place school.
A multi-phase scheme was proposed as part of an overall ‘campus vision’. The two-year campus redevelopment was masterplanned, designed and taken through to completion by HNW.
The development included a 3 storey teaching block and a dramatic new entrance facility connecting three existing buildings via a large double height atrium, leading through to a new landscaped courtyard.
