If you suffer from depression, this is such a special song

Everything will soon turn black, so here's my letter. To get it off my chest. Promise father, don't look back, it's not for the better. I know you tried your best. [Chorus:] Everybody seems so happy like they all share something I haven't felt for years. For long I've tried to just hold on but now I don't care I'm closing down my thoughts and fears. Forgive me, life is cruel. I'm leaving you. Hear you little brother me, you know I'm sorry, for every high hand. Give my love to mother,please tell her not to worry. I hope she'll understand. So long, don't wait for me in vain. What's wrong with being free from pain? Be strong and live your lives like I never could. Farewell, let the memories be nice. To hell!? Don't think you go there twice. I'm well off right here, it's more than good. So Farewell...

Easily the most beautiful suicide song I have heard.
@Gustafsson208 жыл бұрын
I´d call it on the edge or letting go. Personally don´t remember if he still has contact with his family(father and mother), his brother is presumed missing or dead. I don´t feel that that is for me to know however, it´s his personal life and maybe it´s too personal.

you forgot jason cruz of strung out ;)
@patmccrotch53733 жыл бұрын
I adore strung out so so much, but I do have to say that the live videos of them on here aren't nearly as polished sounding as their albums. Maybe it's the videos that are taking away from the performance? I don't really know, but I love strung out so so much, so I refuse to let those videos be the only evidence of how they perform live. I haven't seen them live and I need to, ever since suburban teenage wasteland blues I've been a diehard. What does everyone think of Greg Graffin's voice? I kinda think Nikola sounds like him a tiny bit. Also, how about Scott Radinsky from Pulley? I don't remember his name, but the guy from Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies and Swingin Utters? There's so many more, fuck man, as a musician, punk music has been in my life since 3rd grade and I am a punk for life. It's the most diverse genre in all of music in my opinion. And there's so much hidden talent and so many branches and micro genres like punk, pop punk, hardcore, Ska, reggae, on and on and on.. I love it

Ending your life is wrong. I love Millencolin and liked this song, but I don't feel the lyrics correct, that's a very sad story. Everytime this kind of subject is shared it should come with a message that this is wrong, that's probably why the song makes me uncomfortable. Ending your life only transfer your suffering and pain to the ones who love you.

Jason is a big turn-off for me live. I love Strung Out and Jasons lyrics, melodies and intention but he is a really poor singer on stage.
