I’m GenX and an unapologetic magpie! Color is my life force and the more obnoxious and nonsensical the better. I understand the appeal of minimalism even though it’s not my thing, but being in spaces like this would greatly bring down my mood. Imagine what it does to kids who need excitement and environmental feedback for development! I do keep everything displayed nicely, kind of a “feast for the eyes” style. When I had an office outside the home my coworkers visited it when stressed out because it was cheerful and fun, and I loved having that special space for others! I had a chair everyone called the “bitch bench” where they would sit and cry or be silent or growl or cuss, whatever they needed. Now it’s all in my home office and is my technicolor sanctuary. 😊

I definitely understand the appeal of minimalism too (like for people who use it to ACTUALLY be better for the environment) :) and totally AGREE THE MORE THE BETTER

Really liked your video! I do want to add that most of the spray paint they use isn't toxic when it's dry, so I think that you're making too bold statements on that part. You can use several spray paints on toys from which you are even more sure that they aren't toxic.

Its kind of ironic but i feel like if used to be kind of tacky to be a maximumist but now its starting feel tacky to be a minillist. I actually think i might be somewhat of a minimalist but i think it comes from being both lazy and cheap lol.
