The best thing was having it built, ready to play and looking at it: it makes such a difference having the extra drum pad and another cymbal - I'm looking at it now while typing this! I hope you enjoy it - let me know what you think!!

I have not had an issue with the bass drum beater hitting the rim, so not sure how you tried to set it up. For those who are worried about the height, I am 6’3” and did manage to adjust the clamps so it was high enough, in fact i managed to set it up so low Tom’s sit on the outside of the frame and spaced the whole kit as the acoustic kit at the rehearsal space I use. I also mounted the snare on my own snare stand so I can get the in the position I needed. Perfect kit, I tried Rolands in the same price range and i would never buy those. This kit gives you so much for the money is unreal.

Really helpful. I'm probably purchasing a 750 for my son to learn on. I play lots of guitar so I'll probably beat the drums also. As we are in NZ and shipping is crazy expensive, I want to be sure it's right. Your discussion of tom height makes me remember i'm over 6ft and he's a ten year-old...but growing like a weed so it'll be a temporary issue of how high to keep the kit set-up.
@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hiya - thanks for your comment. I'm about 6ft 1 and have managed to find a way of setting the kit at the right height, and by moving the brackets round a bit, I've still got some room for more height if I need it - I can share what I did, if that would help. In Europe, Thomann have a great "returns" policy if you're not happy within, (I think), 28 days, but I'm not sure if this would be the same for NZ customers: might be worth looking into though.... Good luck!!

As for the felt side hitting the mesh pad and waring it out? I put carpet tape across to spot where the felt on the kick pedal hits the kick pad and the felt hits the tape instead and therefore won't ware out the mesh and it also doesn't effect the kick drum sound

Hello, thanks for the review. I have several questions: What are the layout dimensions (of the rack, without throne)? Is there a possibility of adding another pad or cymbal? My seating position is fairly high (62cm), will the rack height/toms height be sufficient for comfortable playing (or what is the maximum height you managed to have the toms at)? Also, what is the maximum possible height of the snare drum? Thank you!
@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hi - thanks for your questions..... here goes: I have my rack set up at 115 cms wide and 65 cms deep, but this can change, depending on the angles that you have your "arms" set out from the back of the rack. With the 850 model, there is on port on the back to link in most of the pads to, and additional ports for the extra drum and cymbal - I don't think that any more drums/pads can be added, (I might be wrong though.) My seat height is 56 cms and my snare is at 63 cms currently: I reckon, (with adjustments), I could get it 70 cms max. With adjustments, I think I could get the high and mid toms to 90 cms, (but this would be setting them up differently to the recommended way in the manual.) I hope this helps!

Hi thanks for the detailed video 👌 looking at getting one of these for a while now.. How portable would you say it is? Does it fold up well without taking pads off? Would you ever use it for gigging and if not, why not? Thanks so much ☺️

Hiya, thanks for your question. Since building it, I haven't moved it, but if I did, I think the pads and wires would have to be moved as it wouldn't transport easily with them in place unless you had a reasonable sized boot/van to stand it up in. Re gigging with it, I've only ever gigged on an acoustic kit, but I would consider this because of the variety of sounds that it could add to the songs being played. (I'd have to rehearse a bit to get used to it with a band and to work out how best to amplify it, but I think it would work well through the PA.) I hope that helps!

Thanks very much! Sorry for the late reply: I haven't experienced any lag or issues when playing using the double bass drum pedal, but I don't play super fast beats. The bass drum is similar to the pads on the rest of the drums, and they pick up fast drum rolls well, so I wouldn't have thought that there'd be any issue with blast beats.

Hello, let me ask you a question. Can I connect additional pads to this drum kit? Are there free inputs for this purpose? If it's not difficult, tell me which models of Cymbal Pad from thomann, would be good for that. There are several of them, but I cannot understand, they are sold only as a replacement, or for example, you can buy some kind of fasteners and connect them with Millenium MPS-850? I don't know it for sure. I'd like to take a couple of cymbals as extra drums, splash or cowbell and stuff like that. I just cannot understand what is the chance to connect, for example, 2 cymbals and what models are needed for this. If you have information on this, share your knowledge)
@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Apologies for the late reply, I've been on holiday. When I received the kit, the majority of the pad's wires were automatically wired into a SCART plug, of which there is only one input socket on the bottom of the Millenium brain. As this is the 850 model, (and not the 750), there is an extra drum and an extra cymbal and these two additional pads go into their own sockets. There are no free sockets I'm afraid. If there is a way to add more pads, I can't work it out easily - sorry. Perhaps contact Thomann directly and ask them as they may have an answer which is more helpful than mine - good luck!

Very late on this but: are the toms and snare stable? On my dtx, when I hit the snare it would tilt down ever so slightly every time I'd hit it. Quite unnerving...
@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 2 жыл бұрын
Hiya, The toms wouldn't change position, but they would 'wobble' a bit if I played them with a lot of force. Also, the snare would turn out of position fairly frequently, again if played hard. In the end, I placed the snare drum on a normal acoustic snare drum stand to hold it in place and that did the trick!

Apologies if this is a stupid question to ask but do you have to buy a speaker for this E-drum set in order for it to work in a venue setting? I'm thinking of buying one but I'm not sure how the thing works. Thanks
@mydrumming4037

Hiya, Not a stupid a question at all - I should have mentioned it in the video! If you're playing in a venue then you'll need to run it through a speaker in order for people to hear it. Either the PA, or its own amp would work. At home, (and on the KZbin videos), I run it through a monitor, (here is a link to the one I have: www.thomann.de/gb/the_box_pro_mon_a12.htm ), but you could also run it through a stereo, providing there is a microphone port to plug it into. I hope the above helps!

Thanks for the review! How noisy is the kit for se? I mean the hit of the sticks on the symbols, mesh and the bass drum? Do you think is something which can be used in an apartment? I have a crappy Alesis very basic with no mesh and the bass drum is just a pedal without “hammer”. Hiya, Thanks for your message. I received similar questions to yours last year, so in December, I did a video called "Millenium MPS-850 Review - Part 3: How Quiet Are The Pads?" Have a look at that as that should hopefully answer you questions. Also, in the comments section of that video, a few people were talking about their experiences and muting suggestions that they had, so they're worth checking out too...... Ultimately, the mesh heads are quieter than the solid rubber pads that I had before on my Yamaha kit, but the kit does still make noise just from the pad contact, (I give some sound comparisons in the video which might help you). If you still have questions after watching the other video, please come back to me. Cheers.

Hiya, Thanks for your message. The bar which the toms are mounted on is at its highest point that it can go to because the side stands are fairly short. I've worked out a way how the toms can be raised probably about another six inches, (by turning the mounting brackets upside down), but that's then as high as they would go without buying new side stands. This subject has come up on this video a few times and someone suggested placing the kit on mounting blocks, raising the whole thing, which I thought was a good idea. Even with that though, I think the kit would be well below the lofty heights of Mike Bordin, or Mikkey Dee, perhaps!!

I bought same kit also in October(upgraded from Alesis Nitro I played for 4 years) It's a great kit for the money. Just to point out a few things I encountered - The mesh pads tend to break - it's all down to the wires to piezo being exposed and break - I had 3 pads with this problem - ended up upgrading snare to Roland 12 inch with a stand - its really good and most roland stuff would work with 850 brain - Kick pad - has some sensitivity issues in certain areas - the foam placement isn't great, but can be fixed by adding more foam. I bought a Roland kick instead - I use Tama double bass pedal so havent even used the millenium one - open/closed hat play - can be clunky and sometimes make an annoying sound. - module - some glitches happen(if you pick Metal hit, hitting a crash can activate a weird marimba sound or trigger a random song) What I love about it: - hi-hat on a stand - its decent quality and the only option with stand in the price range - mesh heads - nuff said. sure the pads are problematic but I like the feel more than with rubber - a lot of pads for the money - cymbals have choke function(which i dont normally use but still quite cool) So yeah great value. All the cons i listed only seem to happen to some people(i am just that lucky). ALso you can combine the kit with other pads which I did, Thanks for the review:)

Hiya, Yes, I think this kit would be great for a beginner as it gives you loads of things that you can build your skills on. The hi hat didn't respond perfectly every time, but unless you're thinking of eventually gigging with it, (which I wouldn't recommend as I don't think it's to that standard of reliability), I think that this kit is a really good one for starting out on. The mesh heads respond well on all the pads, so I think it would be fine for practicing rudiments on to build up your technique and speed. I hope this helps!

Hiya, Thanks very much for your message and support, it's much appreciated! I really like the hi-hat and think that it is much better than the static pad that I had before on the Yamaha. As is it a free standing hi-hat, (just like on an acoustic kit), the only real difference is that the equivalent of the top cymbal is rubber, and you get used to playing it really quickly because it's the same as the other three cymbals. In my experience, it doesn't register every single time when you open and close it, so you've got to get used to that, (along with when to hit it and how to hit it), but all in all, I'd recommend it: it's much better than a static pad. I hope this helps!

Hi - thanks for your message. On the plus side for the Millenium, it's about £150 cheaper, you get an extra floor tom and the hi-hat is great because you can actually shut the hi-hat by releasing the top cymbal clutch, where as on an electric kit with just a hi-hat foot pedal, I think the only way to play the hi-hat shut is with your foot on the pedal. (Not good if you play a double bass drum whilst wanting a shut hi-hat.) Also, the control unit of the Millenium has more functional individual pad volume controls, which I really like. I like the Alesis having its own snare stand, (this is something that I've added to my Millenium kit), and I love the colour and the silver rack! I've just watched a good video showing the sounds that the Alesis makes, and they are very similar, (if not identical), to the Millenium. Weighing up all that I've seen, given the choice again, I'd still go for the Millenium for the above reasons. I hope this helps you with your decision - let me know what you go for!!! Good luck!

Hiya, Thanks for your message. I'll do a video to show how loud the pads are without amplification in the next week or so. A friend of mine has an electric kit and he lives in an apartment: he's placed his kit on a six inch tall drum riser that he's built which he's filled with sound absorbing material and his downstairs neighbors have no idea that he's got the kit. As I'm not skilled enough to make one of those myself, I think if I was in your position, I'd try stamping on the floor for half an hour as loudly as you play the bass drum and see if you hear from them after that. (I've just tried stamping on the floor, then playing the Millenium bass drum and they both produce about the same amount of noise.) I'm not sure if the above helps - I hope it does though!

Hello, Thanks for your message. The bass drum pad works perfectly with the double bass drum pedal that I have. The Yamaha DTXpress kit that I had before this kit came with a tiny bass drum pad, and I had to upgrade to a bigger pad to play a double bass drum pedal, but the Millenium bass drum pad is an 8 inch circle, so it's easily the right size to handle the double bass drum pedal punishment that I send in its direction - and it hasn't missed a beat yet!! Thanks for your message - that's an odd one and really unlucky to happen twice, which makes me wonder if it's the kit module and not the pad. There is a factory reset option in the manual that you could give a go to as that, (and possibly unplugging everything and reassembling again), might work if it is the module. If I'm honest, I'm not even sure if mine works because I don't think I've ever played a cross stick - I'll give it a go next time I set my amp up and will let you know if I think of anything else - sorry, not much use I'm afraid. Hi mate nice review. Just got a quick question. Did you have to modify anything on the module to make the cymbals choke? None of my cymbals are choking. Also sometimes when I bark the hi hat like you did at 13:02 it doesn’t register because I don’t think it’s quite sensitive enough. Do you get this problem? If I use anything other than the first standard drum kit, sometimes the hi hat still resonates after I close it too I just got this kit and set it up yesterday by the way. Also, just a quick note with the pedal - mines all working without hitting the metal rim on the bass drum! I think the clamp of the pedal goes on the hump, not over it.
@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hiya, Thanks for your message. I didn't have to modify anything for the cymbals to choke, but I found that you have to "pinch" the very edge of the rubber for it to work, (much harder than you would when choking a metal cymbal - have you tried that? Re the hi-hat, have you got it set up correctly with the two wires going in to it and then actually turning the bottom part of the hi-hat on so the green light comes on? The instructions also recommend that there is at least a couple of centimetres between the top cymbal part and the bottom censor part - is yours set up like that? They're the only things I can think of. I hope they work and that you get everything working as it should - let me know how you get on.....

My Drumming cheers for the reply. The hi hat is set up with the right distance etc but sometimes just doesn’t seem to register it properly. It’s like how it is in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKakZmpvbcdjrMU The choke though just won’t work at all on any cymbal. I’m worried I might have got a dodgy module :( Is a shame because it’s a nice kit as you say!

Hiya, Thanks for your message. Where this kit has mesh heads, it is quieter than my previous solid rubber padded Yamaha kit. There is a KZbin video of a guy hitting toilet rolls with his sticks as a "loudness sound comparison" to the Millenium pads, and I'd agree with him. So, it's fairly quiet, but your family will probably hear you. Re the price, I'm still amazed at what I got for my money. Apparently, Thomann save money because they have no distributers of their products, (other than themselves), which enables them to keep their price low. The plastic beater head was injection molded and had tiny little edges that were eating away at the mesh head. When the mesh head started to turn white i got the fallam slam carbon fiber patches and ptu them on and turned the beater around to felt again. Not a problem since but th eonly issue now is that the hitting sound is a tad bit louder.

Hey, thank you so much for this extensive review, it was very helpful!! I'm considering buying this kit :) I was wondering though, what do you think of the hi-hat of the millenium mps 850? @mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hiya, thanks for your message, I'm glad the video was useful!! The hi-hat is great because you can physically shut the hi-hat by releasing the top cymbal clutch, where as on an electric kit with just a hi-hat foot pedal and a hi-hat pad, I think the only way to play the hi-hat shut is with your foot on the pedal. (Not good if you play a double bass drum whilst wanting a shut hi-hat.) Before this kit, I had a Yamaha DTExpress, which had solid rubber pads. The Millenium mesh drum heads feel much more like playing acoustic drums than my previous electronic kit, so it's a great improvement. The rubber cymbals aren't similar to metal cymbals in feel, but you get used to them and I don't mind them: the dual cymbal sound areas are great and the ability to mute the cymbal by holding it after you've hit it is also a really good feature. Re the sound of the drums, they sound fantastic and, depending on the settings that you choose, sound like real drums. I run the kit through a fairly decent monitor, or headphones, and I've got no complaints about the sound: I think it would be good enough to gig with if you put it through a PA system or similar amplification. I hope the above helps! Let me know if you decide to get one!!!

Hello! I haven't placed the kit as close to the left hand side wall as I could, (the side that my hi-hat sits on), but measuring the width of the kit from the wall, it's 150cms wide. The height of the highest point, (crash cymbal), is 125cms. I've moved the kit as close to the back wall as I can and, from the back wall, (behind the bass drum), it is 90cms deep to the edge of the second floor tom. If I was sitting at the kit, I think I'd add another 40cms to the depth, which would then mean that the kit, (with me playing it), was 130cms deep. Ignoring the distance needed for a door that might open into the room where the kit was, I think I could comfortably play the kit in a room measuring 200cms by 150cms. Good luck - let me know if you end up getting one!

I've been really pleased with the pedal and have used it gigging and rehearsing, so it's been very good - I'd definitely recommend a Pearl pedal if you were thinking of getting one....

Hiya, Yes, the Pearl bass drum pedal attaches, and works, with the Millenium kit - no problem as at all. I can't send you a link to the bass drum pedal I have I'm afraid because my pedal about 20 years old: I've looked on the Pearl website and, (although they have a few double bass drum pedals), they are different to the one that I own. The "P2052C Eliminator: Redline Double Bass Drum Pedal" is about the closest thing I can find that looks like mine. Thanks.

Hiya, Thanks for your message. The kit is going well and I'm still loving it. The rubber cymbals have got some white areas on them from the continual stick usage, (not something I experienced on my Yamaha kit and its rubber pads), and the snare drum starts to move from its position if you play 4 or 5 songs in a row without repositioning it. (I don't hit it very hard so this was a surprise.) Neither of these things are terrible and I'm being super picky, but I want to give you my honest opinion. Overall, I still think it's great! (I've settled on one kit sound that I like, and use for all of the tutorial videos that I do, so maybe I need to be a bit more adventurous...!!!) I hope the above is useful: what kit do you play?

I'm not sure how much of a hammering it would withstand, (if you play really hard as your natural style), but it's kept with all that I've thrown at it. I have a concern that the rubber cymbals and hi-hat may wear over time, but that is just a worry at this point as opposed to something that is actually happening. I hope this helps!

@mydrumming4037
@mydrumming4037 3 жыл бұрын
Hiya, The hi-hat produces the same sounds that an actual hi-hat would, depending on the position that you put the cymbals in. So, it works with both hi-hat "cymbals" open, with both closed and also at whatever mid-point you want in between fully open and fully closed, allowing the cymbals to "ring", (depending on how much pressure you put on the hi-hat foot pedal.) Does that answer your question? I hope so.

Hey, budding drummer here. Ive been looking into buying this kit, i dont yet have enough but that isnt the problem. During my time of saving for it ive had some questions id like to have answered before confirming my purchase of it 1. Does the kit sound good? Maybe an obvious question but ive asked reddit already and they recommended a drum plugin due to the Hi hat sensitivity, i am unable to afford a plugin at this time so id like to know if the kit sounds good on its own 2. Can you change cymbal pads with the module? For example if i wanted the right most crash to play the sound of a china could i do that? I had a chance to play test the Roland TD-07DMK at my nearest music store and it sounded great, and the module had that functionality to change the cymbal pads but im wondering if this kit did the same 3. Im confident the answer is yes so id appreciate it if someone could confirm can you use a double pedal on the drum head something like a DW or even a gear4music pedal on the kit?

Hiya, Thanks for your message. I think the kit sounded great when I first got it! The only downsides that I found are the ones that I mention in the three video that I did, reviewing it. I didn't buy any extras for it, and I thought it was great for the purposes that I used it for. I wouldn't gig with it, (just because of the hi-hat not having great sensitivity or responding perfectly all of the time), but if you're just gonna practice on it and build your drumming skills, I think it would be great for that. There are cheaper alternatives on the market, but I was drawn to it because of the number of cymbals and drum pads that are included. You can change the sound effects that come out of the cymbals and the drum pads, and it's fairly easy to do. Also, I did manage to rig mine up with a double bass drum pedal and that worked well. I've since changed it for a Roland kit, (which I also did a review video for), and it's a lot better, but it was a lot more expensive than the Millenium 850. Oh, one other thing: if you want to buy an 850, (but don't have the money yet to by a new one), you could always get one off e-bay as there are loads of second hand ones for sale there. I hope the above is of use and that you enjoy whichever kit you end up buying!

@@mydrumming4037 I can attest to the latter. Apparently the low price of these kits, combined with the convenience of having them delivered right on your doorstep, entices people who only have a fleeting interest in drumming to still buy them. After playing a few times and finding out it's not for them, they want to get rid of their kit, only to find out there are lots of these on sale second-hand. I got mine - having been played 10 times at most - for €250 off the price of a new one. Can't go wrong for that money...

Hiya - Thanks for you message. To choke the cymbals, you just have to pinch the rubber edges of them - it's fairly straight forward and has worked for me every time, but I have had messages from people that have said that they've had issues with them: whether they've actually been faulty, or whether the people were in the process of learning the technique, I'm not sure - mine have always been fine though. I've had my Pearl double bass drum pedal for about 15 years now and am very happy with it - I've gigged loads with it and it has never let me down. The nearest thing that I can find to it at the moment is the Pearl P-922 - you can find it on the Thomann website and buy it at the same time as your new Millenium kit!!!! Let me know what you decide to do - I'd be interested in your opinions if you get the kit or the pedal...

Hiya. Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I don't still have the kit as I traded in a lot of drum stuff that I had and upgraded the MPS850 for a Roland kit, which I'm very pleased with. I still think that the 850 was phenomenal for the money, but the hi-hat and the ride cymbal weren't 100% perfect every time I played them, and that got on my nerves after a while, especially where I wanted the hi-hat "shoop" sound on some of the covers that I played and it didn't always activate. So, if it wasn't for that, I'd have kept it, I think, but if something like that isn't massively important to anyone else that might be playing an 850, then I'd say it is a good kit to own.

@mydrumming4037

Hiya, Thanks very much for your message. I would say that the kit is good enough to play at the pub gig level. Over time I have noticed that the cymbals aren't 100% perfect every time, (ie, the hi-hat opening doesn't always register and the sound of the bell of the cymbal isn't always played.) In a live pub gig scenario, (and if you're not looking for "recording perfection" level), I think it would perform well enough. (I've also placed the snare pad on a snare drum stand to keep it from moving, as I noticed it would move gradually every few songs that I played.) If I was gigging with it, I'd run it through the PA and have a monitor next to me so I hear myself. I have a "Box Pro Mon A12" monitor that you can find on the Thomann website, and I think it's great. (I use it to produce the sound for my drum videos too. They're about £200 new, but I've seen them on e-Bay for around £120.) I hope the above helps!

Hi, I haven't had any issues with crosstalk from any other electrical devices, or from playing the pads on the drum kit at the same time as each other. On my previous Yamaha kit, there used to be occasions when cymbals wouldn't sound at the same time as the hi-hat, but I haven't had any issues with sounds cancelling each other out on this kit. The rack is stable and reliable in my opinion: the only thing I've had to do anything about was the snare drum arm, which I replaced with a snare drum stand, (please see the previous comment about the snare drum moving.) Hi, Thanks for your message. I love the Millenium kit and its functionality, and I think that it is great value for money for what it does. However, over time I've noticed that the ride cymbal and the hi-hat operation don't perform 100% perfectly, every time. (The hi-hat sometimes doesn't register the opening and closing action and the bell on the ride cymbal sometimes doesn't get picked up. Also, the ride cymbal sometimes creates a sound like its edge is being hit, when I'm playing the flat area of the cymbal.) I'm being really, really picky here as they probably work 95% of the time well - but, if you need a kit that you can rely on to create the perfect sound every single time for professional drum work, then I think you'd be better off with a more expensive kit. I hope this helps!

I have my rack set up at 115 cms wide and 65 cms deep, but this can change, depending on the angles that you have your "arms" set out from the back of the rack. My seat height is 56 cms and my snare is at 63 cms currently: I reckon, (with adjustments), I could get it 70 cms max."

On mine, the bottom part of the hi-hat clutch slots into the underside of the cymbal and the screw on the top part of the clutch is then screwed against the hi-hat stem, holding it in place. If you've fitted the cymbal correctly, is it the cymbal that's turning, or the stem of the hi-hat? They're the only things I can think of, sorry.

I wouldn't use it for gigging because the Hi-hat and the Ride cymbal aren't always 100%, (the Hi-hat doesn't always play the right sound when you're opening and closing the cymbals while playing them and the bell function on the Ride doesn't always trigger), but for home use, I'm very pleased with it. Hello! It's currently on the Thomann website for £429, which is a big price drop from when I bought mine for just over £500. For what you get, I think that price is amazing!

Hello! I don’t know if you’re interested or not, but today I’ve created an Instagram account where I’m inviting people to send me their favorite pictures of anything drum related for me to give them a “beats per minute” score based on a bit of fun and entertainment for all. If you’d like to be included, please look up drum.score on Instagram. Thanks and I hope to hear from you!

@@mattmoose1 You're right, it is strange: the cloth side of the beater reaches the drum head, but I'd heard that the cloth side degrades the drum head, so I wanted to use the plastic side of the beater instead - I had to use a different pedal in the end!

Hiya, Thanks for your message. When I started the channel, I used the "Learning to play the drums" titles because I hoped that I was teaching others to play the songs, so they were the ones learning to play. However, while thinking about your question, I realized that I am still learning: I'm learning the drum parts for these songs so I can write the drum music for them. I also think that there are lots of areas in drumming that I can improve on, (double bass drum technique, left foot hi-hat usage, hand speed, integrating bass drum notes into fills, etc...), so yes, I'm still learning too!!

Just a quick update. If you do decide to buy some tubes I gave you the wrong measurement. You'll need 1 mtr 38mm I hope this helps and that you haven't ordered yet. My humble apologies if you have. P.

I’m considering buying this kit but I am 6’3. I’m a bit concerned that even at its max height, the kit will sit too low for me to play comfortably.

Hiya, Thanks for your message. I'm 6'1 and have played around with the set up of the kit quite a bit. I think if I changed the angle of the brackets, I could raise it by another 3 or 4 inches, so I think you'd be alright with it. Check out the rest of the comments on this video because there have been some other good ideas mentioned on how to raise the kit if need be..... I hope this helps.

Hi, I live in the UK and the kit is made, (and shipped from), Germany, so I'd guess that you would be able to buy one from the Thomann website, but the shipping costs to you might be expensive. Perhaps if you bought a similar kit from a country closer to you, it might work out cheaper? Good luck, I hope you manage to get one!
