Dreamcatcher created the Pop-EDM-Metal genre. Check Deja Vu next. Also, their Japanese songs Eclipse, Don't Light My Fire, and Endless Night are pure J-Rock fire. Also Sahara, Break The Wall, Chase Me, Good Night and You and I are so good. And their songs are amazing with their live band. Their latest fan song Reason is a great Rock song.

Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.

Three part series for this one, Part 2- is "Boca" (spanish for mouth) While "Scream" talks about foul mouthed people who want to hurt others with their words, the nest song, Boca, Sua says wants to send a message of hope to others who are hurt by the words of others. Welcome to the Dreamworld, brothers. This should be 1st part of 3, Scream. You reacted to Boca week ago. That is 2nd part. Odd Eye is the 3rd one. Basically this trilogy speaks out about internet social issues i.e hate comments, insults, downgrading, bullying which led to so many deaths (suicides from depression). Scream speaks about the hate comments, cyber bullying which always makes us wanna scream, but this song tells to fight back and turn it back so the haters would scream instead of us. We call it Dreamcatcher genre because they are genre blender that it makes it unique for them and no other groups do it like them. You should explore more, you might put DC in the favourite spot. Fyi, they are touring the US next month. So if you want to experience them first hand, please go. Wont regret it im sure.

@@ayeshavasquez3608 apart from being genre blender, they are story teller. Their title songs are stories which have meanings and messages. Their first era, Nightmare era - Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri and Breaking Out (in order) is telling a story of 7 nightmares/ghosts/witches. 2nd era, is Scream, Boca and Odd Eye 3rd era is ongoing. Maison, Vision... They are addressing global issues like environmental issues by corporations and consequences of war. Standalone song, BEcause is a story of obsession. Their b-sides are wide ranged, you can get whatever genre you want. One of few best b-sides any group can offer.

Actually there are a lot of other channels which discussing abt them, but that channel is the one who often uploaded videos abt Dreamcatcher and become reference for many InSomnia (including me also😁) Another extra info for you too : Dreamcatcher also collaborating with Producer Han Dongcheol and his production company Funky Studio to produce their own first reality show. Producer Han Dongcheol is often cited as "Star Producer" who has led several famous programs such as "Produce 101", "Show Me The Money", "Unpretty Rapstar", and "Sixteen" during his times on Mnet before he left and joined with YG Entertainment at 2017, which he also eventually left to start a new fresh by establishing his own production company called Funky Studio. If you want an evanescence-like song: Don't Light My Fire by dreamcatcher has the same vibe!! They are truly the dark angels of kpop. Thing is, rock/metal isn't very well-liked in Korea, so they're considered a black sheep in their own home country. now, they are known for being the first kpop group to spread and popularise metal/rock in kpop :)

Please react to BXB - Fly away! They debuted in January 2023, but sound nothing like rookies. The song doesn't follow the recent trends. Instead they seem to look for their own sound. A sound that is missing in Kpop right now and resembles BAP a bit. Their vocals, rap and most importantly lyrics and song production are high quality and meaningful.
