Miller Bobcat 265 LCD Screen Durability - Can we break it? Can we fix it?

Mine cracked at 3 hrs , grinder sparks hit it from about 10' away , now I have grinder slag stuck to it and a crack.

I have a bobcat 250 that’s 20 years old. Works just as good today as it did then. I just don’t see the 265 aging as well. Maybe the 230 will be as good long term.

I just bought a new Bobcat 260 propane earlier this year from the dealer. Why doesn't the propane model have a remote Start? Also why doesn't it have a remote pedal set up on it? I would like to use my wireless pedal.

Any place I can buy that screen replacement? Mine is not broken. I am currently building a cage/base with a little gate to protect the screem. You never know who you are crossing paths with.
