Hey !! You can calculate by using the below formula: (X)^a Step 1: type X in calculator and press √ 12 times. Step 2: minus 1 Step 3: multiply with a .(if a is 1/3,then multiply by 1 then divide by 3). Step 4: Plus 1. Step 5: press multiply and equal sign one by one for 12 times each.

Assalamualaikum I have questions sir... If the the cash flows goes beyond upper control limit or lower cobtrol limit then what should i do?? Say initial balance 150000 Return point 175000 LCL---100000 UCL---325000 Cash flows Day---cf 1----(-25000) 2----(-75000) 3----100000 4-----(-25000) 5-----125000 So initial balance 150000 In day 1 as negative 25000 So the balance remain 150000-25000=125000 In the day 2 125000-75000=50000 As it is Below the lower control limit 100000 So i have to get back to the return point 175000 And I have to sell the investment 175000-50000=125000 In the day 3 Should i start the cash flow from Return point 175000+100000=275000 Or Initial balance 150000+100000=250000 Which on is correct? I am following 275000 Then In day 4 275000-25000=250000 In day 5. 250000+125000=375000 As it is higher than UCL 325000 so i have to get back to return point 325000 So i have to purchase more investment 375000-175000(return point)=200000 Am I correct sir? Plz let me know I am from Bangladesh.

I think you are correct. If you take initial $ there is 25000 not incude in CB.
