That's a pretty nice looking grip. However, I have my doubts as to it grabbing as well as the original grip texture does.

I just got the Vulcan grip with a non functional safety, do you install it the same way as a functional one?

How come the mag moved so loosely when it was inserted and sitting
@MillerPrecisionUSA2 ай бұрын
There was no spring pressure pushing the magazine down because of the slide not being on the pistol, the magazine release is designed to be reversible for right and left handed shooters, so in order to accomplish that the tab on the release that is retaining the magazine has to be thinner and can't be chamfered heavily on the bottom side as most currently are because then it couldn't be flipped over for left handed use. We've extensively tested this system for the past year, it works beautifully.
@Renrondog2 ай бұрын
Magazine release looks the same as a glock. No way to change the tension or how hard it is to push the release. too bad. Grip looks excellent otherwise. I've got the 4.25 Prodigy EGW magwell fit this grip?
@MillerPrecisionUSA2 ай бұрын
@@Renrondog correct, the mag release was designed to be reversible for right or left handed shooters. EGW magwells will not fit, we offer our own proprietary magwell as our grip module is much thinner than any others available. We do have a variant available exclusively through Vulcan machine werks that accepts staccato and Dawson style magwells though.

Would your modules work on a 2023 Bul Armory UL?

What size is the trigger. It’s a size option on the Red Dirt website.
@MillerPrecisionUSAАй бұрын
@@bigtop718 I'm not sure, the size is only referring to the length of the trigger pad so it's personal preference. The "staccato" style trigger from red dirt is what you need to drop in, any size will work

Is there any way you could make one with a CZ Shadow 2 style grip shape and ergonomics?
@MillerPrecisionUSA2 ай бұрын
@@Bryan-1980 I've messed around with that idea, the problem is it makes the grip to large and oversized then because of the large 2011 style magazine. We kept these as slim as possible
@Bryan-19802 ай бұрын
@@MillerPrecisionUSA what about trying it with the new slim 2011 mags, like the staccato c and cs have, or the atlas Eos
@MillerPrecisionUSA2 ай бұрын
@@Bryan-1980 the frame is still wide enough to accommodate the thicker mags, even though the mags are thinner. You can actually take the new staccato grips and mags and put them on older existing pistols. so we're still limited on how thin we can make the grips and the mainspring housing is still in the same location as well unfortunately.

When do you see triggers becoming available?
@kurtascunce1367Ай бұрын
Very interested, I have a cheap LFA Apollo 11 coming and right out of the box it needs a new grip module. It comes with a red dirt trigger but I prefer a flat faced trigger and like the idea of adjusting the pretravel and over travel without having to take it apart.
@MillerPrecisionUSAАй бұрын
@@kurtascunce1367 soon, we're doing our first production run of triggers next week hopefully then we just need time for anodizing and assembly!

@ivindavis4071Ай бұрын
are you going to come out with a steel version?
@MillerPrecisionUSAАй бұрын
@@ivindavis4071 we will likely do limited drops of steel grips in different shapes, textures and in different coatings as well. Offering steel full time is not something I see us doing currently as they just consume far too much of our machines time. Maybe in the future. That said, Vulcan machine werks will have there variant of our grip in steel all the time, they are available only through Vulcan machine werks.

@@MillerPrecisionUSA thats too bad as aluminum really defeats the only purpose of going to a metal frame. to add weight/mass. aluminum doesnt add as much weight, but takes out the flex that the plastic frame gives. so kind of spending money to go backwards.

We have not test fit to a Tisas yet, if Tisas is using the "standard" grip mounting pattern it should fit no problem! Email us at sales@usampf.com if you have more questions!
