Finally a trail film the likes of which I could only dream of. My favorite bit besides the conclusion of the race (of course) would be the silent moments on the trail with just the ambient noise. This is the BEST trail/ultra film I've ever seen. Makes Unbreakable look dull. I DO wish it weren't called "Miller vs. Hawks," implying Hawks *lost* when he is nothing but a winner here. Especially given that it was his first 50 miler. Also, kudos to Jamil (and others) who ran along with them! And HOW did you keep your video so steady? Incredible.

Tim Smith I appreciate the comment Tim. My thinking in calling it that was to highlight the duel and the fact that it was really a two man race, which is pretty crazy with how stacked the field was. We didn't know what would happen but it was pretty clear after a few miles this was a two man show most of the day. We used mostly cameras with a stabilizing gimbal. -Jamil
