I'm also a biker, but this happened in my car, I was waiting for cars to pass so I could turn left, when I got rear ended at approximately 40 mph, it sent me like a rocket, it jammed my wheels so they wouldn't turn, I skidded 76 feet, I just filled my gas tank two hours earlier, it blew apart my gas tank all over the road, but No fire ? I broke off the steering wheel, the driver seat back was laying on the rear seat with me laying on top of it !! It knocked me out for about 6 or 7 seconds, the fire department had to cut off half of the roof to get me out, I heard a policeman say she was TEXTING !!! I'm ok now but it took 4 years of recovery. The NRC H.I.M. is a superior truck to this. The Jerr Dan is also a very capable truck. What this truck doesn’t have is storage capacity for the work it will do. Both the NRC and Jerr Dan have underlifts fo tow. This has no underlift. Just a bang bar.
@JrFlexing90918 күн бұрын
@@drp1bb856 Yea, I see that. The tow truck is more like a heavy crane tow truck. All the chains and rigging I would guess you will have to have a second truck for big job. As for the under lift. It would be nice to have one but they would have to custom make an heavy duty under lift step up and do edits on the rear of the truck. As well for the crane part of the boom having longer space to roll back and foreth it might be shorten. I not a tow truck spec but be nice to have on there.

One thing I never get with the towing industry in tow trucks is there backwards use of Chevron striping. on that truck on the front bumper you're pointing traffic into the middle of the truck instead of around it same with the outriggers the subtle striping is pointing towards the truck not away from it..
@rockymartin21792 жыл бұрын
its to catch the eye of on coming traffic its noticable cause its not normal plus if its reflective it reflects better that way.
@napsterbater2 жыл бұрын
@@rockymartin2179 those chevrons actually mean something they are supposed to point down to the direction traffic is supposed to go.. If you notice, there's actually traffic signs that have similar chevrons on them on barrier walls that split lanes or you also have diagonal lines on the left and right hand sides of the road pointing down towards the road. Just because you and most traffic doesn't understand what they mean doesn't mean they don't mean anything. Those backwards chevrons are literally directing traffic into the truck. It is telling traffic they need to come to the truck which again is backwards and shouldn't be the case. If you don't understand what you're doing, maybe you shouldn't be doing it.. and the fact that companies like this don't understand it is insane..
