I wanna get a short shifter kit for my 91 535i e34 but I'm afraid I'll be mis-shifting a bunch. How close are the gears after installing something like this generally?

Low Quality Joh I don't drive a honda civic buddy I can't just google every tiny little thing I want to know about my car, let alone with very little aftermarket support. Half the videos I find of my car aren't even in my own language. Excuse me for not only never using a short shift before, but for asking questions. Thanks for being EXTREMELY useful. -_-

Black E34 so he has a point but you ignored it... shortshifters are the same no matter the car there's different design shifters though regardless how does this guy not get downvoted, it says installed in the title but where is that?????

Shifter has a ajusteble lenght with a bolt. It depends how short you want it. You can make really short throws or really long one. The shifter is bolted on the center shaft you wont be needing shifter support only linkage from shifter to gearbox

I think they'd look pretty good. It can also be an excuse to run fatter tires, which can help on the track.
