I saw the thumbnail and was like mini twists, naw those are chunky twists. If I didn't see it I would not have believed you twisted such small sections. Mannnn you and Melinda are blessed with such dense hair, my mini twist does not fluff up 3 times it's original size.🤣 Melinda's twists look good and her hair looks healthy. I've been wearing wash n gos, high puff, rocking a roller set right now, and twists are my next style and will leave it like that for a while for growth.

Melinda likes her hair short and wants it cut again actually, but I've asked her to grow it out so I could style it more for you guys. Her hair is probably twice the thickness of mine and I may have to rethink that decision. Are you thinking about installing the twists in yourself or getting help with that?

Will attempt 'cause we're still on our stay at home orders or shelter in place. I still have to work and our Beauty/Barber shops are still closed. Unless they work from home. I'm happy I transitioned to natural hair five years ago and started learning how to wash and work with my own hair. Only going to shops every six weeks. I would be lost. Yesterday just put in what was supposed to be mini twists but then I got lazy and made them a bit chunkier 😳. Hopefully I can keep them in for atleast 3 weeks since I don't go anywhere and always wear my scarf around the house lol

I just installed my diy micro braidlocs but I do enjoy doing twists on my daughters hair. Keeps me from having to deal with it cause she is still in that phase of not wanting to get her hair done lol

It took me 3 days cause I had to deal with her and plus being pregnant I just didn't have the motivation to sit and do them, but I'm excited I had traditional locs for a year but I've always thought the "sisterloc" look was better for me because I like to change my hair a lot.

Yes, you absolutely can! Just type in "How to wash Mini Twists" in the KZbin search bar and you'll find a plethora of videos on how to do it. I use to follow Naptural85's videos on how to wash mine, but there are so many others since then.
