I completely agree that this is deeply saddening because these people have degraded into sick monsters who idolize other human beings then stalk and record them like they’re some kind of UFO. They’re talented at what they do and deserve respect for it, but their talent isn’t any better than the talent of a person in many other lines of work that don’t often get praised. The point is that they should be able to go home and live a normal life outside of work without being revered by strangers who think they’re some kind of god when they’re not.
