ngl I've craved fries in the middle of the night(college student days, and currently work overnights), BUT fries are not worth throwing a fit over. Hell, NOTHING is worth berating a min-wage fast-food worker over. If you don't like it, there is usually another fast-food place 5-10min away. Seriously, the days I've worked in fast-food and restaurants are the worse. People treat you like you're sub-human.

I remember seeing a post on tumblr saying everyone should be mandated to work a retail job for one year just to understand how dehumanizing the whole thing is. Never worked one myself, but several of my friends have and SHEESH, the stories.

To be fair I can kinda see why the customer would be mad for not getting their 4AM fries BUT it doesn't warrant a childish tantrum lmao Would be better to just either: A. Get hashbrowns like Millie suggested OR B. Go to another branch/store that serves fries. Plus, who gets fries at 4AM?

I rarely eat anything at an all-nighter aside from Chocolate and candy but even then I would probably prefer just having my own food and just buy at a fast-food when I am in a rush. but no fries, just anything on the menu, which confuses both me and the employee but better than raging over something not on the menu.

Karens are the worst, they're like adult but they're not :( But Millie looks like she enjoyed her time in working these jobs, so that's nice. I also enjoyed her stories! xD Yeah the life of customer service is pain, especially food service. Actually retail also scary

Honestly customer service work is such a pain in the ass of a job even if I do get pissed about something I'll try to be polite or hide my anger (as long as the person is not rude) since holy hell people in that industry need a break.

Ahh yes, service and retail. I remember how I personally ruined multiple birthdays, weddings, funerals etc when I worked at BJ’s wholesale club by slicing the meat for the deli platters too thin or too thick. Or by not being able to make one in the middle of Saturday rush before a playoff game. Clearly all my fault and the only way to let me know way by screaming.

I'm a night owl, im guilty of going for fries and I get annoyed but I never throw a tantrum thats a asshole thing to do. Also the worst is when you order ahead with the McDonald's app get there and then suddenly they say they can't do your order or their "system" is down. Great way to waste gas.

I can understand their frustration, ngl. But as someone who does personal stuff at 4am does not warrant me to order the food I want, I would prefer to always have a food ready to eat at any time rather than some Potatoes. I can really understand the pain people like Millie has to go through since, the customer is always going to be the one being the problem once they make a scene but the Employee has to be the one enduring the problem. Like as I write this comment, the more I want to rave on how stupid you can get to just go to a store at dawn and expect to have the meal you want, and just have packable food and water while on a drive instead if you have such a short fuse.

Bruh this is so relatible i used to work a macca's near multiple clubs hear it is compolsery for all clubs to shut by 3am so when we did the change over at 4am we still had people in the line when we said we could no longer serve the normal menu, so many people got angry and violent we had to hire bouncers to remove people, they would start at 11pm and finish at around 7am so a full 8 hour shift.

I was mad the one time cause I went in at 3:10 am and they switched to breakfast Saturday night. Who is waking up Sunday morning at 3:10am looking for breakfast. Way too early for that. I didn't yell at the workers, it didn't make any sense is all.

This is why I cannot understand why people like to interact with strangers let alone share oxygen for a living. If humans are willing to nuke each other for things I don't want to begin to imagine what one Karen would do to get a single sliver of fried potato.

I have a cousin who lives in Texas and let’s just say that some idiots lose their minds over not getting their fries from McD’s. According to him, he can’t figure out why people are like that when there’s a Whataburger that’s open 24 hours and serve better fries.

It’s the same people who hate eating corn on the cob yet they stuff themselves with popcorn in the theater. Also it’s kinda sad to see the “mature” people who would complain about child temper tantrums when they’re also doing the same.
@GreySeashell-j3m2 жыл бұрын
Complaining harmlessly isn't really the same as throwing a tantrum tho. I mean, if it gets it out of ur chest to _talk_ about it. The people who throw tantrums complain unreasonably, the people on the other side have actual reasons.
