So, boat deals are like this: they essentially lease the boat to you for a year, then you sell it, and they bring in the new model. It's like using a $100k boat for free, but you never actually own it. This could be a nice video to make, how boat ownership and use work at the professional level. I mean, I have no idea how it works; I'm just speculating here.

I think it depends on the individual pro too. Not all deals are the same, but I think guys with a true "deal" are pretty rare, most are memo boats like you describe.

If BCB made a puma or cougar STS with regular shaped storage it would be one of the top selling boats. Why they don't has baffled me for years. I crawled all around BCB when looking to buy and they had premium quality, but I couldn't get with the storage options. Ended up with Phoenix and never looked back.

I love the hulls and look of the Pumas. i just wish they had 3 big compartments on the front deck like some other brands and the back compartments were not weird shaped to make it easier to get stuff in and out of them.

I would bet the reason most bass boat companies don’t make boats without carpet, is because not as many people want them. Caymas makes one with no carpet. I prefer carpet myself. That’s a nice looking rig, but that storage layout would drive me nuts.

Not a big fan of the dual gas tanks! Definitely more of a pain in the ass than anything! Storage compartments are definitely awkward to say the least! The good thing is Baska has a Lotta room for improvement on those areas. Other than that, a great looking and running boat.

Just got back from the lake and used a 6th sense juggle minnow on a core tackle hover rig and smacked a 7 lber. Best pairing for the hover rig I’ve found so far when you cast it out and let it free fall it does a PERFECT death spiral like a foot every 2-3 seconds and a big 3ft circle. Got chomped at the 25 ft mark

i am not a fan of not running a rear graft if not for any other reason than to know your depth and mapping . a paper map doesn't change your depth lines if the if the water level changes . It's just my opinion of being more of a safety issue . unless you are putting all 55 inches of screen on the front deck.
