This video is the 2nd part of my day trip to some beautiful trout water in Nebraska! I fished a crystal clear creek and was fortunate enough to catch my limit of rainbow trout in a few hours. Then I show a tutorial on how to clean whole rainbow trout, and take them home and cook them in a badass new recipe: Lemon Garlic Butter & Herb pan cooked trout. THIS IS NOT ONE TO MISS!

Just FYI, trout have a very high mortality rate when you catch and release. To ensure maximum survival if you plan on releasing them you should do a couple of things. First, wet your hand before you handle the fish. Dry hands will take the slime layer off the trout and increase it's chances of dying. Second you should use a net. When the trout flops around, or when you squeeze it tight when trying to hold it you greatly increase the chance of it dying. A net lets you leave it in the water and allows you to get the hook out with minimal handling of the fish. Anyway just food for thought. Love all the vids and keep up the good work.

Same i dont ever take it off, i also stuff the belly with chunks of butter and garlic onions and season the skin wrap in tinfoil and grill for 20 minutes, melts in your mouth spine falls right off
